  We hired Alta construction in Aug 2023 to remodel our home and to date it is not done. We have a whole in our kitchen ceiling from the leaky bathroom upstairs and it remained that way through the holidays so our guests get to see all this! Before Thanksgiving they ripped the carpet on stairs off only keeping the wood tack-nails on for 5 days so myself and two kids stepped on them and nail went through our feet. The workers they have coming to our home they found off Facebook one being a felon who starting harassing us, threatening us and we had to file a report with Lehi PD and get an alarm system installed which I said I wouldn’t due moving from Vegas to Lehi thinking we’d be safe and comfortable in our home. The work they have ‘“done” is crappy, leaking, defective and has to be redone, we had two additional contractors come in and tell us that. They keep putting cheap materials in our home, tell us we cannot afford to put what we originally agreed on. We have days and weeks they don’t show up and get told park city 7 million dollar home has been taken up there time and then we went to Home Depot they put our material under another persons tab. They destroyed our bathrooms and all 6 of us used a leaking defective bathroom for weeks. When we talk to them they tell us they’d get people or they’ll fix it they promise this and that and get guys out the next day and then the day after they are right back to the same crap then we threaten to sue have to call and beg for peoples numbers they won’t give bosses names or numbers they say it is between three of them Ed, Alias, and Victor it is a pattern we cannot continue they are causing so much stress and anxiety in our family and home, we paid Alta $77,000 to date and nothing is to show for it I feel ripped off and regret going with them, we either want our money back from them so we can hire a legit company to fix all the issues and will be honest and reliable, they fix all damage and we owe nothing else!
