I hired Giant Carpet One to install LVP and baseboards in the entire area on my main floor.Problems with the flooring and installation showed up in the first year. For example, in one specific area, the wear layer had separated from a plank and the seams were visibly changing. I notified Giant Carpet One. As time passed, the problems intensified. There was visible peaking at the seams along with signs of buckling, warping, and lifting. Even now, it continues to progress and worsen.Throughout all of this, I repeatedly called Giant Carpet One. I went into their store, repeatedly emailed their ******************** and called the owner of the entire company.Eventually they came out to inspect. During the inspection, they told me that maybe my boys walked on the floor too hard. After inspection, they sent an email explaining that the damage to my flooring was likely caused by pinch point stress and that the conditions are not related to manufacturing. They explained that Giant Carpet One has a one-year installation warranty and since that had passed, the needed repairs were NOT covered. I searched through all my paperwork and there was no mention of a one-year warranty. An attorney counseled me that in **** there is a six-year statute of limitations on construction defects unless my contract stated otherwise. Mine didnt. They still refused to fix the *************************** of the installation show that the installers left zero expansion space around the perimeter of the flooring. The installation guide required at least a 3/8 inch expansion gap. I pulled up baseboards and confirmed this.I trusted that Giant Carpet One would stand behind their work and fix any problems they caused. Instead, it felt like they strung me along and eventually ghosted me. They also refused to even let me pay them to fix the flooring.Giant Carpet One Floor & Home installed my floor incorrectly and left a widow with three children to foot the bill for their mistakes.

This business has been a nightmare to work with! On March 10th, I contacted Carpet One (****, **), because the grout was coming up from my tile, & then the tile started to lift, so my *********** went in the store, & asked them if they come by to look at *** & give me a quote on re-doing the grout. *** gave us a quote on the grout, & said she could have their tile person come by & check it out, but also if he saw more problems the price could go up, & we would go from there. Two weeks go by, & we didnt get a call, or a text, absolutely nothing, so my *********** go into the store again, *** happen to see *** outside ******** *** told the guy at the desk that, I havent heard anything about getting my floor looked at, **** said that he was new, & that *** has been on jury duty for the last two weeks, & that today was her first day back, **** would have her get back to me. A few days later she finally calls & says shes playing catch-up now because shes been gone. I didnt get someone to look at the floor until July 10th, (4 months later), & of course he found more problems, & that required an entire new floor, & while *** also we gave her the green light to move forward with new flooring, & the guy said that he would be back the next day to replace the ************************ **** was no-show. I didnt see him, & the guys that installed our granite countertops until October, its been 8 months in the making, & after all is said & done the granite countertops had a significant crack in the backsplash. I text *** to let her know about the crack that I found, & that it was super glued together & placed on the wall without my ********** ***** said she would get back to me the next day, its been 2 weeks *** have yet to hear from her. I also payed for grout that I didnt get to use because everything changed, but I didnt get refunded for *** *** didnt get to keep it either, *** overpaid by $20.00 in August that havent been refunded for. Dishonesty
