    Transaction date: 12/16/22
    Item: cycling jacket
    Item cost: $174.99
    Order #***********

I ordered several items from this company last year for the Christmas holiday as gifts. Upon receiving the items, my husband did not care for the fit or fabric of this one particular item. Some time later I sent the item back for a refund (only one of the 3 items from this order, we kept the other two items). I later received an email stating I had returned the item too late and it was sent back to me to keep. However, this holiday when looking to exchange a pair of cycling shoes (they were too big) I read the return policy more closely and it states that new, unused items can be returned AT ANY time for a full refund. I contacted the company to inquire about the policy and they verified that was correct. When I questioned why this item was returned to me they did not have a response and asked if they could get back to me via email (instead of chat). Later I was told the item was dirty and used, which is why it was returned to me. I disputed this fact and they offered to allow me to send it again again for 'inspection.' Prior to sending the item in I took pictures of the jacket to show it's immaculate condition. This morning I received an email telling me it was dirty and had damage. I asked for pictures to verify this and they did comply, but their images and my images are very different. It is my claim that upon receiving the item they damaged it in order to ensure they did not have to refund me the cost of the item. I have time stamped images of the garment showing it was NOT dirty or damaged. I am not trying to get a free item, I simply want them to keep the item and refund me the $174.99.

I am sharing the images I took of this item prior to returning it to the company to demonstrate the truth of my claim. If you expand and closely view the images you can clearly see there is absolutely NO dirt or damage to the item.

The transaction was for a set of bicycle wheels. This occurred around Sept.. 2nd of this year 2022.
The wheels were approximately $2300.00. I mounted the set and tried them out one time and only once. I had to ride with them or how else would I know if they were worth the expensive investment for my bike racing.
I compared them to an my older set of wheels and found them unsatisfactory. This is my reason why. The wheel's hubs are a very important part on a wheels of this price. The wheels were both slower in two very simple "spin tests" that I conducted.
When contacted, Competitive Cyclist authorized the return #********* when I stated that they failed to meet my requirements. They were returned in prefect condition and a representative on the phone said they were in prefect condition when inspected and they would issue a refund. Furthermore two other Reps. on the phone when asked, said "they would refund my credit card since they were returned within 30 days. Both Reps. when I inquired, Said the process may take a few weeks and took my credit card information. On the second inquire, still another Rep. stated that my card would be refunded and again took my card number.
Recently, when I checked the manager stated that they would not refund my money and I would have to be issued store credit.
I informed her the statements I took from several calls said I would refund my money back to the card I used to make the purchase.
Respectfully, I we ended the conversation with no harsh words or any inflammatory remarks.
