On 3/26/24 I finalized a custom order for Shuler kitchen cabinets with Lowe’s. The first round of cabinets arrived mid May with multiple cabinets and cabinet parts damaged. Most cabinets had to be re ordered 1-3 times due to damage/poor quality. In the process I had found out that the cabinet doors I had ordered (under pretense that I had bought fully wooden doors agreeing to pay the upgrade fee) were actually a combination of solid wood and furniture board. When taken to Lowe’s they had reached out to Shuler and requested knowledge on how to order the correct door style to receive all wood cabinet doors. Lowe’s tried to make us pay the upgrade fee, but ultimately ate the cost as Shuler refused. When the new doors had arrived (damaged) I found that they too had furniture board. When brought to Lowe’s attention, they had again reached out to Shuler and came to the decision that all painted doors Shuler replaces furniture board for wood automatically without notifying the customer. I reached back out to Lowes noting that I was not ok with this decision as this is basically false advertisement. I don’t believe that I received a good quality product as advertised. I have been without a kitchen for 5 months now, and am ready to put this behind me and build my dream kitchen. I would like to have my money fully refunded by check/cash and will happily allow Shuler to come to my home and pick them up. I did not receive high quality cabinets nor did I receive all wood cabinet doors like I had specifically noted that I wanted prior to placing the order. I have lots of money tied up in paying my contractor, gas too and from Lowe’s, and now ways to cook/find food 3x a day every day for my family of 5. I believe that Shuler has falsely advertised their products as I was on a call with the Shuler rep and the Lowes designer and this was never mentioned. If Shuler is sticking to their false advertisement they should be made to put this in bold on the front page of all their catalogs
