I started meeting with a therapist at one of your locations earlier this year, things were going well until a few months ago due to the fact that my therapist has essentially ghosted me. At our last session they said they would be on vacation during the week of our next visit and that they would be making adjustments to their schedule after that, so I should email them to setup the next appointment. I waited a few weeks before trying to schedule the next session but there was no longer any open times. I've emailed multiple times now giving a few weeks in-between, nothing but silence. I finally called and the receptionist supposedly messaged my therapist to contact me, while I was on the phone, and I still have not heard anything. I'm so frustrated with this experience; if I'm not a high enough priority client, if I did something wrong, or if I've been fired as a client then just straight up tell me instead of leaving me in the dark for the last 4 months. I emailed the main email for AAC to try to figure something out and I've gotten no response there. I finally reached out to the executive therapist and even then I've gotten no replies at all. I really needed help this summer as my depression got very severe, I understand that a lot of people are struggling and that therapists are overloaded with cases but that's still no reason to be dumped by the wayside. I spent a long time looking for the right therapist to help with specific issues, waited until I could switch my insurance plan specifically to one that you accept, and chose a more expensive insurance despite tight finances to be able to cover therapy; all for nothing. If you are needing helping I would avoid this business due to their total disregard for the people coming to them for help.
