Building Dynamics marketed a custom home. We were given a cookie cutter home. Things that were custom were the adjustment to the backyard cement, the kitchen paint, the granite counter tops, and adding one extra plug in the ceiling for internet. A lot of things that we took the time to pick out (ex. kitchen sink, faucet) didn't get ordered properly and they installed what they wanted. When we said we wanted to buy the house they said it was $305,000. By the time they got back to us they raised the price $5000 .We picked out a fridge and asked to purchase it during a labor day sale. They said it was in the warehouse in their possession. It was never purchased and we had to buy one on our own last minute, not what we wanted and not within our budget but it was our only option to be able to close. Our closing paperwork said they would paint the front door a color pick out months before closing, they refuse to do it saying it's already ******** our 1 yr warranty we had cracks in the wall in our bedroom and above our stairs. They fixed the crack and then painted the spots with the wrong color. Our bathroom tile never was sealed and is now moldy and our tile that was broken and replaced was never grouted or resealed and that tile is broken again. We let them know all of the fixes. They said we have to call all the contractors and get them to fix everything. The company we went through to buy our house won't talk to us or say they will take care of it and they then don't do anything. We did get our LVP fixed but I know the contractor that did that work and they fixed it for us. I don't know if ****** paid them for the work or not since the nails underneath the flooring were causing the damage. When we closed they were 3 months late and we had to lock in our interest rate. The rate raised 2% in that time and it was another $5000 that ****** said he wouldn't help out with after we asked for it in the closing documents. All we want is to get the home we asked for

I have reviewed this complaint and discussed this with my *******. Many of these items in the  complaint I have never heard about.  There was a walk thru list at closing that was completed.  Since then, the ********* claimed that I had promised a painted black front door.  I don't recall that but have instructed my ******* to get the door painted.  There are a couple of cracked pieces of tile that I have discussed with ********* in the last couple of weeks.  They have a couple pieces left over from the build so I will make sure my tile contractor replaces them.

    Thanks,
