Worst experience! Sadly unprofessional, lack of communication, they dont care about you, dont follow their own rules, forgetful, extremely rude, rented me a place that they knew the foundation was messed up and Ive been living in for only a month, my sons stuff is damaged and now his room is being ripped up. These things shoulda been communicated or fixed while it sat empty. Agent knew about an appointment with an contractor but tells me 2-3 hours before to let them into my place when I have ********* made me late for my appointment I had that day just rude to put a person thru on account of their forgetfulness. Agent didnt do proper walk thru because apparently he expected me to print off the walk thru paperwork told me to figure out the location of my mailbox and number. They dont communicate between management and agents which in return you suffer because they use the excuse system error when I know it was their error not following thru. I do not recommend working with this company until they improve, its been the most stressful experience Ive ever had.

April We're sorry to hear about this experience. We have spoken with your property manager regarding these issues and will be providing more training on the move-in process (what forms of payment are acceptable, move-in walkthrough, etc), as well as giving notice for entry. We perform a move-in inspection prior to the tenant taking possession and then allow 7 days for the tenant to do their own inspection. We have found in the past that a ~30-minute walkthrough with the tenant was not sufficient since often the tenant would find more issues/notes after staying in the home for a week and learning all the nuances. Your property manager did say that you returned your move-in inspection and we have record of that so I think we're good there. It is common to have to get mailbox keys from the post office as they require a signed lease and photo ID. The mailbox keys change at each vacancy and they do not provide us with these copies, although we wish they would! Can you confirm that you were able to get a key? I can provide more information if needed. We also spoke with your property manager about the lack of notice for the repairs for which he took full accountability. He made the appointment in haste to get it done and did not take into account this timeframe may not work for you. For that we all apologize for the inconvenience this incident caused to you and your family. In the future, please know that you have every right to deny entry if proper 24-hour notice was not provided, unless it's an emergency situation that will cause damage to the property. The owner and your property manager recognized that the repair is going to disrupt things and can be a lengthy process and this is why he offered you the option to be let out of your lease with no penalty. It was not the intention to lease you the property with this type of repair nor was it something that was a known issue prior to you renting the property. We absolutely would have disclosed this had we known about it prior to move in (and would have taken the property off market until it was repaired). We want you to be comfortable and the repair/timing is out of our control unfortunately, so this was a solution if you elected to do so. I can see here on your statement that you do still owe the pro-rated rent and this is stated in the lease agreement. Since this was a system error, I am happy to waive the late fee once payment has been made. We are happy to discuss solutions that you may have in mind for this other than a credit on the late fee. Looking forward to resolving this together. Thank you.
