I bought the house in July of 2022. With in the year I have had some issues with the windows in the back of the house leaking. I have reached out then and that took them months before they could send someone out to look at it. After emailing them back and forth asking when they will be getting around to fixing my home. They decided to repaint the back of the house. I was really confused on why they are painting when they need to be pull the stucco off and seal the windows before they paint. I went back and forth telling them paint will not seal the windows. 6 months later windows are still leaking. Once again they took months to send someone out to fix it. Didn’t communicate when and that was a whole side show just asking for a date. 6 months later I’m am still having issues with the same windows. I have reached out to Liberty Homes several times since it has been leaking. Filing another warranty claim emailed them and now have called to left voice messages. I think asking them to fix my windows so they don’t leak every 6 months is reasonable. I have be extremely patient with them and at this point I am being ignored. Spending money on a new home for it it have many issue especially with leaking windows. No one wants to move into a home and deal with what I have been dealing with.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/24/2025

    BBB,

Thank you for responding and following up. As you can see with our A+ rating for years, our name and reputation are important to us. We wanted to let
you know what we have done after receiving the first notice.  Our
superintendent who is dealing with this homeowner reached out directly to **** ****, to reiterate that once weather permits, we will come and reevaluate his
situation. But did not understand to reply through the portal as well.

    However,
**** **** has made some misrepresentations. He closed in 2021. We did not
receive a warranty request for his windows until after his warranty was over.
December 27, 2022 is when he sent in a request (about 18 months after his
closing, out of warranty.) Weather did not permit good evaluation nor
resolution during the winter. So we resolved them as soon as we could. Even out
of warranty, we have come back multiple times to fix the issue. We applied a
sealant to it first, then the most extreme action we took was we ripped off the
whole back stucco of his home, evaluated the install, and replaced the stucco
at our expense. Then we even went inside and repaired the drywall
damaged.  For him to say he has had problems since he moved in and that we
have not been responsive, simply is not true. Stucco is a porous product and
all literature says that certain storms will allow moisture in, especially with
    sideways wind.

    Even
so, we will come back and reevaluate in spring as we have communicated to him.
But we feel we have gone above and beyond our warranty to address his issue, as
our reputation is important to us and we want him to have a good home.

    Thank you,

    Liberty Homes
