    My serpentine belt broke. I paid a tow truck to take it here since I called and they said they could fix it. Boy was I wrong. The employee who installed it named Apollo, told me he put it on and I noticed
    Red fluid under the hood pooled in an area in my car. He was careless with with a different car because he said that was from a different car he was working on? He didn’t even offer to clean it up. That was another red flag for me. Sloppy work.

    I took it to a different shop because I was hearing sounds. They said it was crooked. That the serpentine belt wasn’t on there right. I called R&R and spoke with Nitro (I don’t know why they don’t go by their real names, seems shady to me), and let him know and requested a refund. He refused and I requested the manager to call me. He never did. I never heard back from them.

    The customer was told that our work comes with a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty and the vehicle would need to come back to our shop to verify its needs. If there was any damage to the belt from improper installation or defect the belt would be replaced free of charge as per our warranty. The customer declined to return to our shop. We do handle any returns very seriously to the point where a different technician then the original technician assesses the needs to insure the matter is corrected properly. Unfortunately the customer declined to give us the opportunity to correct the issue.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I spoke with Nitro who told me the owner would call me and never did.  So what you are stating is false.  The belt wasn’t put on properly and I asked Apollo, the mechanic who installed it and he did a bad job since obviously put it on crooked and was causing engine issues.  This wasn’t discovered until I took it to a reputable 3rd party who told me, offered to show me, and ultimately fixed it for me.  After they fixed it I had no more problems.  Basically RR Auto is taking from me because they weren’t competent to do the job right in the first place AND they never followed up via phone, letter, etc.
