      Snowbird Timeshare - Relinquishing My Ownership After reaching out to discuss options for relinquishing my ownership, I was informed by J** ******l that the Association does not accept units back and that there is no current policy allowing such actions. I was told that this policy exists in the "best interest of the Association" to avoid placing the financial burden of annual assessment fees on general ownership. While I understand the importance for the overall operation of the Association, I would like to request an exception be made for my situation, and *** has refused to help me. I acquired this timeshare from a friend with the intention of enjoying vacations at Iron Blosm Lodge. Over time, my circumstances have changed making this timeshare from a friend with the intention of enjoying vacations at Iron Blosom Lodge. I have been limited to exchanges and trades with other locations, a process that has consistently proven to be difficult and restrictive. Over time, my circumstances have changed, making it increasingly hard for me to travel. On top of this, the rising annual fees have created a significant financial strain. I am now retired and living on a fixed income, making the financial demands of maintaining his timeshare no longer viable. I am asking for understanding and insist that an exception be made. If J** ******l is unable to assist, I respectfully request that this issue be escalated to the Association or decision maker capable of granting an exception. I no longer require this ownership and need to relinquish it back to Snowbird. Given that the timeshare went unused, I request reimbursement for the 2024 maintenance fees that I paid. I seek a compassionate resolution to this issue.
