    1. **Work Without Permits:** To my dismay, ReScope Concrete LLC started work on my project without obtaining the necessary permits. This raised serious concerns about the legality and safety of the project.

    2. **Unfulfilled Promises:** The owner's father, Jeff M******* ******, assured us verbally that he had connections with city engineers who could easily secure the required permits. Unfortunately, it became evident that these assurances were not grounded in reality.

    3. **Persistent Delays and Cancellation:** ReScope Concrete LLC not only consistently delayed the project's progress but also failed to provide any clear timeframes for completion. Frustrated by their lack of progress and communication, we made the difficult decision to cancel the job after enduring a prolonged period of uncertainty and inaction. This decision was made out of necessity, as it became evident that they were not delivering on their promises or providing a reasonable timeline for the project's completion.

    4. **Outsourcing and Damages:** Once they received half of the deposit, ReScope Concrete LLC outsourced a contractor to scrape the yard and haul the dirt and weeds. In the process, the outsourced contractor recklessly cut the Google internet lines, leaving us without internet access for several weeks. Furthermore, their machinery damaged part of the vinyl fence gate on the side of the house, resulting in additional costs and inconvenience.

    5. **Feedback from City Engineers:** I took the initiative to reach out to city engineers, who informed me that ReScope Concrete LLC had developed a poor reputation within the city and had not effectively resolved permit-related problems, contrary to the company's claims.

    6. **Refusal to Provide Documentation:** When I requested receipts and documentation for the expenses incurred, which amounted to $5,000, Brad C*****, the owner, stated that they had proper records but declined to provide any proof of expenditure.
