I brought my dog to this kennel and when we picked him up he was dripping with urine and smelled so bad that we put a towel down on the backseat and when we got home he went right into the bathtub. What kennel gives your dog to you in that condition? He also had diarrhea so bad that we had to bring him to the vet where it was diagnosed as Cholera, which is so dangerous and we could have lost him. Fortunately he responded to antibiotics, if not he would have had to be hospitalized with antibiotic administered by intravenous. I tried to get in touch with the owner- a *************************** who apparently does not take calls for any reason and this ********* handles all calls and has no remorse or sympathy to this situation. Hundreds of dollars later and three weeks of watching my dog suffer he is now well . Please do not bring your dog home this dirty, disgusting kennel..

I am a previous employee at Dogtown.First off, let me start by saying that this place looks nice and higher quality than other pet boarding centers. However they are very good at masking the darkness that goes on beyond the front lobby. The dogs put at the bottom of their list of priorities. The facility is always way understaffed, dirty, unsanitary, and dogs often are neglected. Dogs will spend time in kennels for an excessive amount of time. Sometimes daycare dogs hardly go out at all. They continually dismiss the concerns of their customers who complain of their dogs coming home smelling terrible, injured, or sick. They will come up with whatever excuses they can to make it seem like they are in no way at fault. With that being said the management Dogtown is the worst I've ever seen. They don't care about their employees that aren't part of management. They can barely afford to pay their workers, meanwhile they will spend money on fancy catering and trips to the spa for their management team.I always found myself doing the work of multiple people and while continually being asked to do more. They took advantage of my strong work ethic.I was also never allowed to take a real break. Ever. Also, you cannot express any concerns you have with them or they will retaliate negatively. They will promise raises and advancement in the company but it is a lie. Don't be fooled. This business is going downhill and they know it but they will not do what they should be doing to fix it.

I love Dogtown, my dog **************** being well taken care of and pampered by the staff. The staff have always made sure to update me with photographs and little notes from her play day, they also make sure to give ***** a wonderful spa treatment before I pick her up so she smells fresh and clean when we go home. I love how Dogtown not only takes care of my dog but the dogs of my friends like they are family. I will most definitely be coming back when we need boarding in the future.***** is often there for daycare and loves to play with her friends, the staff is diligent on keeping up with the training commands that ***** learned in her training course with Dogtown. I love that she comes home tired but fulfilled when she gets home from daycare.1

We took our dog ***** to Dogtown. She was adopted from the shelter at ****************************************** basic commands. After sitting down with a trainer we decided to go for a 2 week board and train. We received daily report cards and homework and they were the highlight of the dinner table talk. She has been home three weeks and is such a different pup. She is still stubborn but its nice to have her softer around the edges and more predictable in her behaviors. She is food motivated so we all carry treats in our pockets but we are so grateful for the entire team at Dogtown

Our family is over the moon with Dogtown. We adopted a dog from the shelter around two years ago. To say her behavior has been a struggle is an understatement. We contacted Dogtown through a referral and they recommended a board and train for 2 weeks. Our dog ***** has been back with us for a little over two weeks and she has a different level of understanding of her place in the home. She will always be stubborn but the fact that she can walk on leash without being ****** reactive...a work in progress but better everyday. She doesn't jump on people, she can sit and stay in her place when I am cooking. She can let something drop on the floor and not go after it,,,she returned my 4 year olds plastic easter egg she found under her bed. She can fetch and return for a treat of course, she amazes us everyday. With that being said our family is committed to working with her everyday to keep rewarding the good behavior that was shared with her at Dogtown. They have mini classes this summer and I cant wait to keep watching her grow. So grateful to the team of Dogtown. The progress reports and videos everyday of what she was learning was a highlight at our dinner table. We are happy for our ***** and the place she holds in our home.

I left this public review on ******** Honestly one of the worst customer services experiences I've ever had. I took my malamute for grooming today for the exact same groom we got in may, had a 70 dollar difference. When I brought him in early because of work (previously arranged)I was told they needed updated vaccine records. I said I forgot them and that I worked down the road at a veterinary hospital and I could get them to them as soon as I got to work. I was told that was against there policies which is perfectly understandable, however the tone that was given was rude and unprofessional. Being told "I should already know this" because of my job. After the groom, They told me he bit, and bent the grooming table when he's previously has been perfectly fine with grooming. All I've been told before was that he was hyper and wiggled. Now I'm worried that because I had some issues with the grooming, it was taken out on him. When I called to ask why,was told he had more undercoat, but charged me an extra $50 worth plus a behavior fee. And they said "I should know this" as a vet tech, using my job against me and as if I was dumb. I'm so utterly disappointed. Not worth the hassle And the manager responded with: ****** disappointed on your review. You were asked to bring in your vaccinations prior to arrival then expected us to break our policy for you. You dog was in very bad shape and neglect. He was difficult for you to manage in the lobby and then you expect the groomers to manage him on a table. Shame on you. My tone wasnt unprofessional but it was holding you to expectations of all our clients. You dropped him off 30 minutes early and were very demanding yourself because you had to get to work.I was not only overcharged, I also was publicly shamed when it could jeopardize my line of work. Very disappointed

As in the past you have done mini ****** for your malamute, this time you asked for a full groom. A mini groom includes a bath, nail trim and either paw pad or face trimming. This time you asked for your malamutes full body to be worked on. Malamutes have multiple undercoats which can take time on the table. We noticed he was a little more difficult to work with on the table and was not able to hold still which takes longer for the groomer to do their job. Our groomers have the opportunity to charge a behavior fee or matting fee due to their experience with the customers dog. Everything is listed on our website and we have signed paperwork from you stating you are understanding of this. We do not mishandle our dogs even when they are being difficult on the table. We make sure to give the dog the best positive experience as possible. We are sorry you feel that things weren't communicated to you properly and are more than happy to discuss in person on how to better future visits for you. Please understand that policies and procedures are in place at all our facilities to keep all animals, employees and customers safe at Dogtown.
