      On May 3, 2023, I entered into a contract to purchase a male and female, unrelated white cap pionus parrots and paid a $2470.28 downpayment to Traci's Parrots 4u. The terms of the contract stated that the downpayment was to be refunded at the end of October 2023 if she was not able to meet the terms. Around or about Oct 18th, Traci informed me that she was unable to locate the pionus parrots and would try to give me a refund at the end of the month. At the end of the month she informed me that business was bad and she was unable to provide a refund. I also found another person who had not been provided a refund from Traci's Parrots since 2022. I informed Traci that she was in breach of the contract, and I asked for the date that she would provide a refund. Traci said that she didn't know when she would be able to refund the deposit.

      A refund has been implemented. The BBB appears to be nothing more than another forum not unlike Google reviews and social media in general in which keyboard warriors can kick small businesses when they are down. This has been a very difficult time and we have done everything we can to survive the current economic climate with its tightening spending behavior. I am surprised the BBB still has a following as i would think members would be looking to cut useless expenses from their budget. You have my permission to publicly post my response. I am hoping the diminished number of people that actually look to the BBB for anything at all might have the foresight to understand that we are all doing what we can to make things right in this current world and a little softening of hearts will go a long way in making this a less combative world.
