    It's impossible to overstate the lack of honesty, integrity, & professionalism we experienced with Manley Construction LLC & its owners, B. M***** and M. M*****, during our home build project. This company not only breached three critical agreements but also abandoned the project without completion & disregarding the warranty terms of the contract. B. M***** and M. M***** proved to be inept in their duties to properly bid, manage, and oversee the project. They failed to hold themselves and subcontractors accountable for time overruns, shoddy workmanship, & financial obligations. Their chronic dishonesty only compounded the problems. M. M*****'s behavior was hostile, abusive, and threatening, with a total absence of customer service skills. Her handling of our finances was a disaster and we will be reporting her to the **** County District Attorney for the investigation of fraud. B. M*****, was manipulative, deceptive, and reneged on his commitments throughout the project. This company & its owners represent the most negative business interaction we've ever had. Our damages now far surpass the initial fixed cost bid for our home build project. During our lawsuit against Manley Construction, the owners pressed false narratives through their attorney and repeatedly lied to the Court. They claimed monetary damages for items we had already paid for (and have cancelled checks signed by M. M*****). They also claimed damages for amounts we paid beyond the fixed price contract. They expanded the scope of the project, requiring us to pay for & perform work beyond the contract terms. They did not control costs, follow the contract, nor deliver the product they promised. Perhaps the worst part of working with this company was their dishonesty in blaming everyone, including us, for their failures to perform. It is clear their conscience, along with their attorneys, has been seared with a hot iron & they feel no guilt, shame, or regret for what they have done to us.
