    Wallentine Siding and Exteriors (WSE) did nearly $50,000 worth of work on our home build project The lack of quality with some of their work resulted in damage to our home. We promptly reported these issues to the General Contractor (GC), Manley Construction, under the warranty clause of our contract. WSE failed to return to address the outstanding concerns, including soffit and gutter issues, & damage to our newly installed roof. Working with WSE proved challenging, marked by unprofessionalism & an unpleasant demeanor. The progress of our project was significantly delayed as WSE's crews erected scaffolding but then left to work other jobs, taking 9 wks to do a 4 wk job The severe damage inflicted upon our roof, by the stucco crew's improper work methods (toe boards instead of roof jacks), now requires repair costs amounting to thousands of dollars. One of WSE's subs requested additional payment due to their inaccurate job bid. Further issues arose as WSE's crews left our window wells and steel roof a mess which necessitated a large effort on our part to compel WSE to return. The steel roof remains scratched and unaddressed. WSE claimed they did not receive full payment which is entirely inaccurate as evidenced by signed lien waivers. Our GC expressed significant frustration to me with WSE's work, citing many concerns & difficulties in securing their return for quality control & related tasks. Our GC stated that among the contractors involved, WSE was his greatest concern in terms of completing outstanding work. He also stated it appeared as though WSE deliberately avoided addressing these issues. Despite initial warranty attempts, WSE didn't fully address reported concerns or return after their last visit, despite ongoing communication with the GC about warranty claims and construction defects. Throughout the project the owner's treatment of us was marked by an attitude of disdain. We will never use WSE again due to their shoddy work, false claims, & attitude.
