My windows were installed on 1/13/25. The install team knowingly installed a window with a broken frame stating they would submit a request to the manufacturer to get it fixed. The install team trampled two of my lantanas to the point they completely died. I notified ****** at JKR Windows the following day when she called. She stated she was aware of the window issue and would notify the install team lead of the need to replace my plants. The install lead (****) called me the same day, apologized, and stated he would make it right. He wanted to have a landscape team plant new lantanas. It's winter in AZ and gets to be freezing. He stated they would plant them to replace them and that was it. I stated these were mature plants and I should not have to deal with the care young plants need to survive the winter. **** stated on 1/27 via text message that he would instead give us a giftcard to pay to replace the plants in a much more appropriate season. In the next text message (same day), he said he would mail the card or drop it off. I gave him my availability. I have not heard from **** since and he has ignored my subsequent communication to close the loop. I have called JKR Windows to follow up on the plant issue AND my window issue to be met with silence. I paid half up front and I will not pay the second half until the job is done.

We purchased 6 windows and a sliding glass door from JKR windows in April *************************************************** July 2024. On Sept *******, the installation crew came out and realized they did not have the sliding glass door but did install 6 of the new windows (the sliding door was the most crucial and expensive part of the project) the crew advised that they must had left the Slider in ********* and would make arrangements to come back and install it the following week. On Oct 2 the crew called me to advise they would come by at 8am on Oct 4 but never showed up or called me so I called the JKR windows, and the Manager advised the crew had an emergency but would come by on 10/5 in the morning. On Oct 5 the crew came out and remeasured the slider and realized it was 10 inches to big and they needed to order a new one and stated they would expedite a new door, and we should have it within 2 weeks. On Oct 25 3 weeks later I called JKR and tried to get an update on the slider and was told I would receive a call back on 10/28 I also advised the situation and that we are unhappy and that that they had charged the entire amount of $14,650 and the work was still incomplete they advised they would take a look to see what they could do including taking off a percentage that was supposed to be held until the work had been completed, this has not been done this and we are still paying for the entire amount and do not have the sliding door. We are asking for our slider to be installed in a timely fashion. 7 months is not reasonable and that the charge for the slider be removed until it has been successfully installed, and that we receive a credit for the inconvenience and that we be compensated for having to take off work for them not to show up.

Overly aggressive door-to-door salesmen have on two separate occasions ignored my No Soliciting signs. I verbally told them they were trespassing the first time, They came again today, knocking on my door. I work nights, so it is very disruptive getting these overzealous salesmen ignoring my clearly presented signs. Isn't this illegal?

      Business Response

      Date: 10/07/2024

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I completely understand your frustration with door-to-door salesmen ignoring your "No Soliciting" signs. In ****, solicitors are generally expected to respect these signs, and we agree that their repeated disregard of your clearly posted signs is unacceptable and disruptiveespecially given your night shift work schedule.
We are happy to look into the situation further to ensure this doesnt continue happening. Please let us know if theres anything specific you would like us to do moving forward.
Thanks again for your patience. Were here to help!

We agreed to a bid of $18,000 to replace 8 windows. The windows were measured and after 3 months we finally have an installation date only to discover they are not correctly measured or installed in the frame, brick to brick, but have been installed in the old frame that is 50+ year old wood. The customers service representative and the salesman both assured us previously that the windows would be installed brick to brick, that the installers have a special tool to extract the existing wood frame and that the paint on said wood would be tested for lead prior to extraction and installation. None of the promised services took place. The installers pulled up with a uhaul pulled by a ***** envoy wearing wife beaters and mullets. I am absolutely furious that the service rendered was so unprofessional and now my home is exposed to the elements with a newborn at home. I am not a litigious person but I feel like a victim of fraud and will seek counsel regarding this atrocity.

      Hi ****** ******,

My name is **** ********, and Im the Pre-Installation Director at JKR Windows. First, let me sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience youve experiencedthis is definitely not the level of service we strive to provide.
I have searched our system using your name, email, and phone number, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to locate your account to dive deeper into the situation. I also attempted to call the number on file and left a voicemail, but please feel free to contact me directly at ************ or my email at: ******************************************* and Id be more than happy to discuss this matter with you personally.

Regarding your concerns, I assure you that we take these issues seriously. Its troubling to hear that the installation did not meet the expectations set by our sales team, especially concerning the brick-to-brick installation and lead paint concerns. I would like to investigate further to understand exactly where things went wrong and ensure theyre corrected immediately.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I look forward to resolving this with you.

We paid in full half of the cost of the windows and charged on credit the remainder. We have been paying the credit portion since September 2023 and we did not receive the first installation of our windows until January 2024. They did a partial install and since then, we have not received the remainder of our promised service (a large grand room window at the front of our home, a sliding glass door to our patio, and a bathroom window). There has been a large amount of turnover in the company, both within the laborers who execute the project and management. We were promised resolution for March 2023 and this has not occurred. We have been told multiple times that the parts were ordered then when someone new goes to check, our parts are not there. We were scheduled for tomorrow June 18 however this is also not going to occur as the company employee (******) has "no clue" where our windows may be. This is unacceptable as we have not received the promised items.

      Dear ***** and ***************************,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention through the BBB. I sincerely apologize for the ongoing issues you have experienced with your window installation.
I understand that you paid half of the cost upfront and have been making payments on the credit portion since September 2023. It is unacceptable that the first installation did not occur until January 2024 and that it was only a partial installation. The remaining promised service, including the grand room window, sliding glass door, and bathroom window, has yet to be completed.
I acknowledge the frustration caused by the turnover within our company, which has affected both laborers and management. We promised resolution by March 2023, and I regret that this has not been fulfilled. Additionally, the confusion regarding the ordering and location of your parts is not acceptable.
My name is *******************************, and I am the project manager assigned to your case as your dedicated representative. I have attempted to reach you today by phone and left a voicemail. Please give me a call at ************ at your earliest convenience so we can discuss this matter further and arrange a suitable time for the remaining installation.
Your concerns are valid, and we are committed to resolving this issue promptly. We appreciate your patience and the opportunity to make this right.

We agreed to a $17,000 bid to have 11 windows replaced by JKR windows of St George, Utah. The windows were measured multiple times before ordering. Ultimately, the company installed the windows incorrectly and our home is completely freezing now. The windows are NOT installed in the window frames. Fresh air rushes in most of the windows, behind the siding, and now the inside of our walls are exposed to direct cold, wind & moisture. This is going to cause additional damage to our home very, very soon. Our heating energy use has increased DRAMATICALLY, and we are trying to prevent frozen pipes in the walls effected. The company is fond of using the phrase "next week", and seems to make excuses for everything. By Saturday the 10th, their phone goes immediately to a voicemail saying they are not available (during office hours). We need these windows installed correctly and very soon.

This home owner and I have been in constant communication. The issue is a manufacturer warranty that is being taken care of. We have addressed all of the issues that we can influence and now we are waiting on a couple small items to finish the job to satisfactory. We are diligent working to rectify any remaining issues.
      Thank you
