Our gas fireplace started going out so we called them. **** came out and said we needed a replacement part and that we'd need to pay for the part upfront and then when they received the part it would be an additional cost of labor. We paid over $400 for the part. Two polite guys came and installed it and started doing some other cleaning and maintenance. One of the guys doing the work said the additional cleaning was normally $360 but because we ordered a part, it was free. Half way through he said it wasn't free because the part wasn't big enough??So I told him not to do it. They finished up and had the fireplace working. And then he gave me the total labor, and cleaning ($360). I reminded him that I had said not to do the additional cleaning? I didn't schedule that. So he lowered the cleaning price to $260. I agreed to pay the lower price because he had done the work and he was a nice kid. The total was $460 for cleaning and labor. We paid it. They left. After they left, I googled the part that they showed me they had to replace. It's $45 for the exact one on Amazon that they charged us over $400 ****** I called to try and see what the reasoning was. I was not rude or aggressive. I even complimented his employees on being polite. Before I could even finish explaining he started getting worked up and cutting me off telling me that he quoted us for the cleaning and that I had just been out of the room. To be clear, he did not. He started using profanity, yelling and telling me I was harassing him???? He wouldn't even let me talk.I mean, totally an insane way to responde to a customer with a concern. I hung up on him and he started texting me telling me never call him again or he will file charges for harassment! His name was ****. We just paid him over 900 dollars for, from what I can tell was a $100 job and then got his wonderful customer service. Finally, he has 5 stars on ******. I left this 1 star review. He has since had it removed somehow.

A technician came out to service my gas fireplace, he was here for less than five minutes, told me my fireplace was old and needed a $900 pilot assembly. Later I found out that the gas was not on when technician tried to light pilot. So I called Quantum back and asked them to explain how to light a gas fireplace without gas being on. I was called a bunch of *******, and the * bomb was dropped several times. 2 weeks later I am still traumatized by this phone call I had with the office manager at Quantum. This is a totally unprofessional business and a scam, that takes advantage of senior citizens.

I have been totally pleased with this business. They use ******** made parts in their repairs. We called in the morning with a non-functioning AC unit. Joshua was here by 3 pm and had replaced the faulty ***** cap and had us up and running by 3:30. He was extremely polite and caring about wearing foot protection whenever he entered our home. We are grateful for their service.

I have been working with this company since July now the end of August. They did not assess things properly The day they came out I still smelled gas and contacted them by phone and text right away. I left several messages and never heard back. I had to have the gas company come and they said the gas shut off valve wasn't turned off correctly. Next day I smelled gas and reached out no answer and again called gas company. I reported to my building manager. The building I live in was smelling gas throughout the floor and had to shut off the gas to the entire complex for safety. Quantum finally responded to me several days later stating that they shut off the gas valve and there is no way I should be smelling gas. I did tell them I was and they said everything was fine. Quantum also billed me over $700 for parts that they said I had to pay for in order to have the service completed this was day they came out. The Wilshire building due to smell affecting other tenants and possible explosion contracted to have someone new come out and access and found that the shut off valve and flex pipe had leaks not just the pilot light valve. I sent pictures and texts to Quantum giving them the benefit of the doubt. I let them know gas company and two other companies found additional issues no response. They were scheduled to come to make repairs this morning never showed up. t When I asked them to refund my money I got nasty threatening messages from them, was called a "*****" and no apologies for not showing up or making mistake. they simply said they will contact their attorney and they don't do refunds.. They billed me over $700 and didn't even assess the problem correctly and never came to complete the job. How can you justify no refund when you don't respond to calls, texts or complete the job. They even said you need documentation. I sent it and no reply other then "I guess your perfect and don't make mistakes" but no offer to refund me.
