    This place said I needed a$1000 part. They would accept if I brought it in. I went to a salvage yard, Brought it to them. The hours to change it was 2. After I got there with the part they said I didn't need the part just the ***************, and the hours changed from 2to 8. They were going to get that$1000 some how. Labor is$100+an hour. Was just going to take the car they said they did work charged$500 to get the car. Took it to another shop and the part they said they replaced is still showing the same code and the new place said the part is not new.

    We just wanted to say that we are sorry for your experience, but if all we wanted was to make or take money from you then we would not have had you take the vehicle to another shop since the job was allot bigger than originally anticipated and was something that we don't do here do to it needing to have the timing chain removed which is also why the labor went from 2 to 8 . As for the Camshaft position sensor that was replaced, we let her know that wherever she took the vehicle to, to have the remaining work done to let the place know that it is a brand-new part and if there is an issue with the part that it could be warrantied. The part is a Bosch part that we got from Oreilly for that driver side and when the old sensor was removed the internals of the sensor fell apart. We replaced the valve cover gasket on that driver's side as well as new plugs on that same side. My manager had done her best to help and work with her on the cost of the repairs that were done because she knew the vehicle was just purchased and money was tight.
