I went into this business to look into buying a used car. They had the car listed for $1800, and I asked if they can lower the price. They said I can make an offer and they’ll call the owner to ask. I offered $1500, and said I’m going to run to autozone to grab some transmission oil to see if that’s what the car needed, so I decided to leave the $1500 with the lady since I didn’t want to get possibly robbed on my way to autozone. I come back and put the oil in, lord and behold that wasn’t the issue so I decided to go back in and tell her never mind on the car, and wanted my $1500 back. (Mind you I didn’t even sign anything or even say I wanted the car for sure) she told me CONGRATULATIONS your offer has been accepted. When I asked for the money back she claimed that there’s a holding fee of $300, and that she’d only give me back $1200. I was livid, she refused to give me back all the money because she had already put it in the safe, and the best she did was write me a check that bounced. This company is full of crooks left and right. And robbed me in broad daylight. Exactly what I was afraid of happening.
