On November 2nd 2022, I hired Handy Hands LLC for the removal and installation of windows for my home. On November 3rd I paid them $2028 for an unfinished job. The contractor and his assistant worked on the job November 2nd-3rd. They removed the old windows, and installed the new windows but left the job unfinished. The job required the removal and installation of all the homes windows, caulking of the interior and exterior windows, and exterior framing of all the windows, as well as the interior framing of 2 of the interior windows. I was also given specific instructions to leave my kitchen window/window seal untouched with screws sticking up until they could return to complete the window seal, and that was never completed or painted. The exterior caulking and framing of both the interior and exterior windows, was also never finished. The contractor left tools, nails, and garbage laying around my property for me to clean up. I have tried to speak with the company multiple times over text and in person, about finishing the job, and I have continually got the run around about when they could come finish the job. They told me that they have tried to contact me, via phone and stopping by my house to speak about the job, but this is untrue. The wood framing that was used to secure the new windows in place was left exposed and my exterior windows were exposed to the elements because they were not caulked or sealed. There was also an interior-exterior exhaust pipe coming from my kitchen to the exterior that was cut and never put back together. I also paid for caulk (3 per window, 33 at $4.78 a piece totaling $157.74 in total for the exterior) that was never used due to the job being left incomplete. The wood framing for the exterior was also purchased by me totaling $300, and that was never used also. I have been trying to get in contact with them multiple times to get this resolved when they have time, but never got them to set a day to finish the job.
