In November,2022 I purchased a 2015 Chevy sonic from Naples auto, prior to moving out of state. I immediately began having issues with the car and bringing it back to the dealership. I brought it in to the dealership on November 30th '22 and they diagnosed my vehicle saying that there were issues with the turbo tube and O2 sensor. They claimed to have remedied the problem. On Dec 12, 22 I had continued issues with the vehicle and they again diagnosed the same 2 problems and said they'd remedied the issues. The check engine light again came on and I brought it back in to the dealership on Jan 4th, 2023. They said again that it was an issue with the turbo tube and that they'd fix it, for a few, even though the car was within the 6 months warranty. They also stated that the car was completely driveable and not to worry much about it. On January 18th I brought the car back, hoping to have them fix it, and they suddenly didn't have any log of the previous trips into the facility. They sold me a broken car and either could or did not fix the driveability issues under the warranty. They wanted to charge me for fixing the issues with the car that they sold me, in that state. They also gave me completely unsound advice that the car would be driveable with no issues. It caused severe damage to the engine that are now irreparable. When I called them to discuss the situation, after having moved to another state, Vince claimed no wrongdoing, had no answer as to why they didn't fix the car to begin with and held no accountability in their poor advice. They said that the general manager refused any responsibility. Now I have a defective, undrivable car that I'm paying 13k for.

      Hello,

Mr. ********* purchased the vehicle in question back in November 2022.  Mr. ********* did have to bring the car back for service on the turbo outlet hose in January of 2023.  A faulty turbo outlet hose would not have caused damage to the vehicles engine.  If anything the car would have gone into limp mode to protect the vehicle.  Carfax shows no service records since we looked at the vehicle on January 18th.  So regular maintenance has either not been done, or has been done by a service facility that does not report.  Unfortunately we cannot replace a motor in a vehicle that has not been serviced or properly maintained.

      Thank you.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: I have a history of attempting to maintain my vehicle. Naples Auto didn't cover most of my malfunctions, successfully educate me on the issues of my vehicle, and misplaced/lost service logs.

      Sincerely,

      ****** *********

I had purchased a vehicle from this dealership 4 months ago. The vehicle I purchased was a 2016 ****** Rogue with 97k miles when bough. When i had taken the vehicle to ******* ** for a vacation it immediately started having transmission issues. I had it looked at by a transmission repair shop and they recommend a transmission replacement. The dealership was contacted where I bought the vehicle and I told them of the issues. I spoke with **** the ** and he asked if I had gotten a warranty. He then questioned the expertise of the transmission shops owner. He began to argue and dismiss the issues when in reality he failed to let me know that the vehicle had transmission issues and by law that is required in ****. He then started to ask irrelevant questions. He went as far as saying, " You won't be the last people we sell a vehicle with a bad transmission to.". He was very unprofessional and did not work with us in regards to fixing the issue even though he knew about it and lied about having the vehicle looked at before being bought.

      To whom it may concern,

The vehicle in question did have a multi point inspection done before it was ever put on the lot for sale.  There was no transmission issue at the time of sale.  And there was not transmission issue until now.  As the customer has stated he has owned the vehicle for four months and I did let them know that issues like transmissions can go out unexpectedly at any time.  That is the nature of anything mechanical.  I also did ask if they purchased the extended service contract.  They did not.  I did let them know we could repair the vehicle if there was an issue at a 10% discount but we never were allowed by the customer to diagnose the vehicle.

      Thank you,
