  I would give 0 stars if I could. This company is not reliable at all! My mother in law with severe dementia that they repeatedly said their staff had the necessary training to be able to care for to allow my husband and I some much needed respite. They did not have the training to care for her, the staff even told me they did not have the necessary training. I always have to have double coverage because often times they dont show up or they are not there for the correct scheduled time. They charge a ridiculous amount for me to have to still do all of this work, $34/hr and they have only increased my workload they have not given me any piece of mind. They never cared if they left my mother in law alone, so I had to ensure her care by always having double coverage. If you have someone you truly need care for, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

  This provider did not provide the care needed for my mother who has Alzheimers. She needed assistance with eating, drinking, bathing. They just cleaned and then sat on couch on their phone. My moms health deteriorated since they started 5/20, so we need to move her to care facility. They will not let her spouse stop service without 2 week notice & he cant afford to pay for care center & Home Instead at the same time. This is delaying her being moved to Care Facility for 2 weeks. This is an emergency situation. She is not eating, drinking, having constant UTIs because she needs help bathing. Her 80 yr old spouse is unable to provide needed care & Home Instead is also unable to provide the care she needs.

  *****, Im sorry you are frustrated. I know that when older parents remarry, it makes decision making hard for the adult children as well as the stepparent.In your mothers case, we signed her up for services at the request of her husband. During the short few weeks we worked with your mom, we did our best to keep her safe, calm and loved. Your stepfather was very happy with the care we provided and was extremely grateful for our help.I spoke with your stepfather, and we were able to amicably work together to do as you wanted, which is to get your mom into a nursing home. Your stepfather was very sad to move her, but he expressed how happy he was with our services and said our caregivers were absolutely amazing and that they gave him the respite he so desperately needed.
