0 STARS - A NIGHTMARE. DO NOT USE SWIFT ********!I am writing this review out of extreme frustration and distress after a horrific experience with Swift ********. During an incredibly difficult time, while dealing with my father's recent death and handling his affairs, I encountered nothing but unethical and frankly, criminal behavior from this company.I took my vehicle to Swift ******** and had the Bill of Sale with me. Despite this, they refused to release my car, demanding the title which is currently in the process of being obtained through a lost title application. To add insult to injury, all of my belongings, including items belonging to my deceased son and my father, were locked inside the vehicle.Due to their refusal to release my car, I was stranded and forced to spend an exorbitant $10,000 just to get a vehicle to return home. This doesn't even include the cost of replacing my clothes for the two weeks I was stuck there, the 5 days of motel fees, and the expense of a rental car.Initially, they quoted me $290 for the release of my vehicle once I obtained the title, assuring me that the cost would not increase. However, when I offered them the $290 simply to retrieve my personal belongings from the car, they refused, stating that I was not the registered owner despite possessing a notarized Bill of Sale!Adding to this outrageous behavior, I recently learned they are now charging me $41 per day for storage, directly contradicting their earlier statement that there would be no further charges beyond the initial $290.Let me be clear: Swift ******** has effectively stolen my car and all of my possessions. Their business practices are predatory and criminal. It is deeply concerning to learn that they have an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau and that one of their employees has reportedly faced felony theft charges with a criminal background. This is the most unethical and criminal company I have ever encountered.

My daughter had her car towed by this Swift towing, so they went out yesterday to get their car out of impound yard and had to drive it out on two flat tires, and parked it outside of the lot, they went back today to get their car and it was towed again by these same crooks! they had to pay them another $200.00 to get it out today! Merry Christmas, Swift Towing Crooks!

100% predatory towing. My MIL comes every once in a while to visit. The last time she was here she park in the visitors space. There is NO time limit for visitor parking posted. After being parked there for over 12 hours, there was a sticker placed on her car stating we had to move it within 48 hours. She obviously moved it when she left. She came to visit again last night and parked in visitors parking. They towed her car stating that the sticker meant she could never park in visitors parking again but why? Shes our visitor, and she does not stay for more than a few days. The first day we moved in they also towed our car out of our garage as we were unloading our boxes. They said their reasoning was that an inch of our car was in the street.

Cant even give them a 1. They are a zero. They are a s***** company that as soon as the store closes starts gathering up cars. I was doing business with the company my car was at. I had to borrow a truck to pick up my purchase and take it home unload it and come back to get my vehicle. They towed my car and charged me ****** . I had informed the store employee that I had to take this to my house and unload it and would be back. I have heard of many others who have had the same issue with this company. They are a scam company that prey on people.

This company will hold your personal belongings hostage until you pay them with cash. Predatory Tow Company with shady business practices. Don't ever consider using. The state of Utah allowing this company to operate is ridiculous. Clear to see the DOT in Utah doesn't care about it's people, it'd rather allow a slimy company to continue stealing from people.

Predatory towing company that my HOA uses. They cruise around the neighborhoods looking for victims. My family was in the process of moving out of our unit. We had our 26 ft uhaul truck backed into our driveway so that we could easily load up. I had to move my car to the side of the street due to absolutely no available parking near by other than my driveway, I parked my car right beside our uhaul, we were not blocking the road whatsoever. When we were done loading the uhaul, my father drove away in the uhaul to start his 8 hour drive out of state. In our hussel and bussel I had forgotten to move my car back to the driveway. Within FIVE MINUTES, my daughter told me my car was being towed, our garage door and front door was open because of the move. His fat self had been sitting in his tow truck, WAITING for an opportunity to tow my vehicle, and did so as soon as we moved the uhaul. This was absolutely a predatory tow. I ran outside and asked him to drop it, he waited till he had my car completely lifted before he rolled down his window to speak to me, then told me i would have to pay due to the fact it was already lifted off the ground. I was frantic because I had an 8 hour drive with children to leave asap due to our move. He said i needed proof of registration and I scrambled to find my current info in my mess of paperwork. I had the keys, i had my drivers license, i had proof of insurance and previous registration but he would NOT DROP MY VEHICLE BECAUSE HE DID NOT WANT TO HELP ME OR HAVE ANY EMPATHY WHATSOEVER. A man in a lifted truck drove up during this, screaming obscenities at this tow driver saying "I got you on camera for predatory towing!" He turned to me and said that he tried to tow his vehicle last week and to call the cops on him that they made him drop his truck. When he wouldnt consider any of my other paper work i took the mans advice and called the police. I had to pay $100 but thankfully was able to keep from getting towed* * * SWIFT!

Called this company after my wifes car was towed for absolutely no reason. Our HOA was doing seal coats for our community and told us to remove our cars from the community. Therefore we moved the car and parked it completely legally. We were not blocking any stop signs, exits or fire hydrants but were still towed. When I called the company to find my wifes car, they told me I was parked illegally which again is not true at all. They then told me we could get it at the impound lot but they would not release the vehicle back to us because it was in her fathers name we own the car, make the payments towards it and pay the insurance. Yet they wouldnt give it to us without her father there. After waiting for her father to come by so we could get the vehicle, mind you, this took 4 hours out of of work day. We then had to pay them $340 to get the car back. That is more than her car payment on a monthly basis. I find it completely unreasonable and unethical that we were told to move the car, never told where we could park and then had to pay over the amount of her car payment to get it back just so we could go to work. This business is predatory and is looking for anyway to make a quick buck. When we called, the guy treated me like a doormat and had no empathy or compassion for the issues they had caused. They should be shut down because they are doing nothing but robbing people.
