    We hired a contractor - Gregory F***** to install a fence around our property. Gregory submitted us a proposal detailing the work and having total cost $12,200. On Sep 1 2023 Gregory marked the future fence location on one side of the property. On Sep 2 2023 he came at 8 am with his worker to prepare the ground for the fence. After the half day work Gregory told me that that they will continue in the afternoon and that he needs a deposit to buy the materials for the fence construction. I gave him $6,000 cash and Gregory signed on the work contract that he received the money. Gregory told me that that he will buy the materials and that his people will be working that afternoon and next day. However, nobody showed up. We tried several times to call, text and send email to Gregory but he does not answer/reply to our communications. Today is Sep 5. We tried to reach him again without success. Usually he responded to our calls/texts/emails right away.
