I was offered a lease renewal for my 3rd yr and they offered me one rate on paper and via online. after a few days of consideration, I signed electronically and submitted the documentation. I was sent another renewal offer the next week with a new amount that was higher than my 1st offer with the explanation that there was a glitch in the system. they gave me until the end of September to sign, I was told this 9.12.2023, which doesn't give me much time to consider. I was, also, told that I have to submit a notice to vacate 60 days in advance if I decide to move. I was too late to do that so I can't do that without avoiding penalty. my plan was to move if my rent wasn't affordable as well as look for another job. if my rent stayed the same or by chance lowered, I was going to stay and pursue certifications for a career change. everything was based on my living situation. the first lease renewal offer was given on paper and was lower than the rent I was currently paying. that same offer was, also, given on the resident portal. I waited a few days just in case it was an error and it remained the same. I signed and submitted it. the 2nd offer, of course, is more than the rent I was currently paying. I either signed by the end of the month or give a vacation notice by the end of the day. this can't be legal. I just kept being given the run around. I called leasing and before I could even finish my sentence, I was told they don't handle lease renewals. I still have the first renewal letter that was offered as proof. I was told that that offer that I signed wasn't accepted because of the error that was made in the system.

I was a resident in one of its apartments (**********, APT ****), moving out on Oct 2022. They are still oweing me the move-out refund, which is around $1000 because I had to pay the last month rent in full but only lived for 12 days in the last month, and also because of the deposit I paid. The refund amount was confirmed by their employees in my previous calls. Over 10 weeks later, they are still not paying me the refund. Though they confirmed that I do have refunds in pending in previous calls, they were just letting me waiting for their callback about my refund. No callback yet. It is not reasonable time manner for any property management company to spend over 10 weeks to send the refund. They provided no deadline or instruction for the refund, but just waiting for their random call (which I never received). They barely replied my email, despite the fact that I sent multiple emails (not a 'spam' amount of emails). And if they replied, it would never be in a good time manner, usually over three days. Their office number is almost non-reachable, so every time I needed to call the resident service line first, then they transfered my call. I believe they are trying to make me forget about my money. My request is asking them to give me refund as soon as possible, which is very simple. Small claims court will be my last choice, which will definitely costs them much more than my refund.
