      Blood taken in 2024, compared to blood taken in 2023 at an INOVA outpatient facility (INOVA Health Complex in *****) was sent to a different lab for processing, by INOVA Mount Vernon Hospital, resulting in a significant increase in pricing. In 2023 the cost was $1,018.00 compared to $******* in 2024. If I had known that there would be such a significant increase in pricing I would have gone elsewhere. My health insurance company repriced the amount owed (*******) to $3262.90 and payed $2210.33 leaving me owing $1052.57 with $500 of that being applied to my yearly deductible. $3,262.90 for the processing of blood work at a lab seems extreme to me especially when the year before it was so much less.
