    I previously filed a complaint with Results Fitness that was resolved regarding a non-payment for a gym membership I tried to cancel during covid19. The resolution was a removal of the charges. I do not have the claim number for reference as it has been about 2 years since the resolution. on Feb 23, 2023 I recieved a notification on my credit report of a collection/chargeoff for ****** and ********** for a derogatory account status for Results Gym in Alexandria for $217.00. This matter has been resolved, there is no non-payment issue, and I would like for Results Gym in Alexandria to remove this from my credit report.

    In May of 2020, I called Results Gym to inform them I would be ceasing my gym membership due to the pandemic and my health concerns. I was told I could not cancel over the phone and would have to come in and “meet” a representative. I informed them I would not do that , plus it was a month to month contract. I called again on 2 more occasions and they would not email me the paperwork to cancel. In Summer 2021 I got a credit card and informed the creditor that the gym membership was not to be paid and they have stood up for me throughout. However, now Results Gym sent me to a collections agency continuing to seek regular payments even though I have repeatedly asked to be released from membership.

    We do cancels everyday via email or mail and do not require that a member come in and talk to someone to cancel(that has never been our policy). We will have ************** removed from collections but we have no record of any attempt from ************** to cancel.
