    I HAVE BEEN FIGHT AND BEGGING WITH SPACES/***** FOR A YEAR TO STOP CHARGING ME FOR A OFFICE I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR, THE CONTRACT CLEARLY DOES NOT HAVE MY SIGNATURE. BUT THERE IS NO ONE THAT YOU CAN SPEAK TO WHEN YOU HAVE A CONTRACT ISSUE. THE PEOPLE AT THE FRONT DESK KEEP SAYING THAT "WE HAVE NO ONE TO CALL, ALL WE CAN DO IS PUT IN A TICKET" AND OVER 6 TICKETS HAVE BEEN PUT IN AND NO ONE HAS CALLED ME ALL YEAR AND NO RESOLUTION. I WANTED SOOOOOOO BADLY TO KEEP MY ACCOUNT BUT THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. AND WHAT THEY ARE DOING HAS TO BE ILLEGAL. I HAVE A CONTRACT THAT I DID SIGN, WITH MY ACTUALLY ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE ON IT. THE CONTRACT THAT SOMEONE IN THERE ESTABLISHMENT FORGED IS FOR A OFFICE I NEVER OBTAINED, NEVER WANTED, NEVER AGREED TO,NEVER MOVED IN, NEVER GOT. THE KEYS, AND NEVER UTILIZED. AND THEY KEEP AUTO RENEWING THIS FORGED CONTRACT EVEN THOUGH I HAVE BEEN BEGGING THEM TO REMOVE IT FOR A YEAR.

    Client ********************* claims she only signed up for Co-working Space and not an Office space.  However, she did in fact make at least one payment on the office she claims she didn't sign for.  **** now refuses to pay for the either account.   Although we've asked her to stop using this address for her business; she continues to use it, as you will see in the attached BBB file and via ****** Business. Please see all attachments and Center Team Manager response below;

    It was not an upgrade.  The client toured for an office with a start date of April 1, 2022 to September 30, 2022 (6-month agreement) on November 9, 2021 and signed on November 12, 2022. She then decided that she needed something immediately until April 1st, 2022 that was less expensive. A coworking desk was suggested.  The co-working agreement was requested/ sent/signed on November 15, 2021.

    On May 17, 2022 she informed the Community Manager of the center that she had eventual goals of upgrading to a private office but no concrete plans and did not want the private office that started on April 1st, 2022. The CM at the time placed a ticket (ticket number **********) but the request to terminate the agreement was declined. The client was informed of this and through multiple communications with the center team and Account HelpDesk was encouraged to terminate in *******. She never terminated either agreement until yesterday, with an end date of March 21, 2023 as the agreement has already auto-renewed.

    How long after the office agreement was signed did they say they didn’t want it -
    May 17, 2022

    Why (any idea) -
    I think ... she was trying to start a business, but I do not have direct confirmation from the client. My understanding was that she planned on hiring a team to use the office but that team was never hired, and the client herself did not live locally.

    Why are we perusing both the co-work and the office, was it in fact not an upgrade?
    It was not an upgrade.

    Anything else, is there any reason to believe the customer “never, signed it, never wanted it, never utilized it”
    No , as it was an open conversation with the ASM *** *****.  The center team are aware all the communication between client and ASM. Additionally, she did pay the first month's rent, see below and attachment for details.

    I signed a two-year private office lease with Regus (DBA Spaces) in summer of 2021. At the time of my renewal, the "House Rules" documents I agreed to included a 4.8% indexation rent increase in October 2022. When I received my invoice for this month, rent had instead been increased by 9.6%. I brought the issue to Spaces' support desk and their response was that they had amended the House Rules in July 2022 to increase indexation. I received no written notice of this change, was never given a copy of the new House Rules, and the documents I signed at renewal did not indicate that rent could be increased without notice. The Terms and Conditions indicate in Section 4.7 that indexation would increase "in line with the relevant inflation index detailed in the House Rules". But the House Rules do not specify an inflation index, only that the increase would be 4.8%. (Rule 46)I am now extremely nervous to continue my lease with Spaces, as their behavior has shown that they will use the House Rules to impose additional charges on a whim, unannounced, with no possible recourse for their customers.

    Good afternoon,

    We received this complaint regarding a client of ours (********* *******) regarding a discrepancy in the Annual Indexation aspect of his agreement.

    We have been in contact with our corporate legal team and they have ensured us that the original rate provided to the client will be honored.

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
