      I was discriminated against because I am disabled. I was banned from the leasing office for **************************************, which is actually the ***********************. ****** **********, the manager of ******** ***** and Infinity Townhomes at Centerville, allowed me to come on the property and speak with her personally. I did this on two separate occasions as she is in that office on Monday and Tuesday. She was supposed to be at the *********************** on Thursday. I went to the *********************** on Thursday and asked the receptionist to speak with ******, the manager. I was told she was not there. Then I asked to speak to the assistant manager, ******** I was told she was not there. I asked if they were at one of the four properties they manage and the receptionist told me no. I then asked the receptionist if they were in a meeting and she said no. I explained to the receptionist that I have been waiting for a callback from ****** **********, the manager who was waiting on a call back from her accounting department to see about putting my deposit check in my name alone. My daughter had already moved out and had taken her name off the lease. They could see that all payments came directly out of my checking account however they put the deposit in both of our names, knowing that I had no idea where my daughter was. I ended up tearing up the check and leaving it on the desk and told the receptionist she could give it to ****** when she came into the office. The receptionist, *******, jumped up from her desk and physically assaulted me, and shoved me out the door. I am a 63-year-old woman who is disabled. She is a young woman who was quite strong and I told her that I was going to file assault charges and she said she did not care. I went back to my car that was parked in the handicap space and immediately called the police. Officer ***** from the fourth precinct responded. He talked to both of us and gave me Charlies information. I have filed charges.

      Zero stars for this Bonaventure properties. I agree with all the complaints that the other people have put on here with their reviews.

      My hopes in cc'ing NVAA, BBB who I will correctly email tomorrow, Loudoun County *********** and others you are embarrassed enough to properly take care of your property. That someone will care enough to force you to take care of the residents that pay thousands monthly. Last night as I tried to take trash to the dumpster however, I couldn't get close due to so many rats crawling up the fence, around and in the dumpster. You could hear rats in the dumpster as I walked away with my garbage in hand. The rat infestation happening at Commons on the Potomac is the direct cause of FCA Management who is rebranding as Vest Residential and partner Bonaventure. Rebranding will not help if you continue the same unsanitary and unprofessional practices.Just steps outside the apartment parking lot whether you look to the left or right Sterling is building up. **************, library, extended stay and senior home has painted buildings and businesses, power washed brick while you continue to lower the tier of this property and surrounding area. The mice and rats will spread and the cause will rest directly Vest Residential and Bonaventure. Where rats have made it to the 3rd floor. This photo was taken Nov 18 and the food is still on the wood floor Nov 27th. This is what I see regularly when I open my door. Again, before FCA Management now known as Vest Residential and Bonaventure this was a good, clean property.

      Live in the shockhoe bottom area, this company has literally been a nightmare to deal with the lack of professionalism from the staff is unacceptable. Takes months on end to get a response from the leasing office had to send numerous messages just for my concerns to be ignored. Im very disappointed! I had high hopes for this place especially for the hard earned money I pay to stay here.

      I currently live in ***************. My AC unit has not been working properly for the last several weeks. Last weekend (July 28th) stopped cooling my apartment completely and it was reaching highs of 89 in my unit. I put a ticket in and the repair man came first thing Monday, July 29th. He checked out my AC Unit and informed me a needed a new compressor will need to be ordered. I added a follow up ticket on Thursday, Aug 1st to see how long it was going to be due to being in an excessive heat warning and my apartment hit 93 degrees Thursday night. The repair man came to visit me on Friday, Aug 2nd to let me know that corporate still has not approved for repairs nor have the approved the part to be ordered. He did give me a stand alone AC to try to cool off my apartment, but is is not blowing out cold air, just room temp air which did not help at all and still could not get the temperature under 83. I went down to the office to speak to manager and get update. She stated that they have not approved yet and will be having a meeting at 11:30 and will have them approve so that it can be ordered. That afternoon the repair man came back to me to check in and let me know that he is still waiting for approval. I have called and left several messages for corporate and have not received a call back. I also emailed the property manager asking for a call back, and have not heard as of today. Due to the excessive heat we have been having and the warnings to not go outside this should have been processed and an emergency. It is becoming unhealthy for my self, my partner and our dog and the fact that we can not get the part approved when I was promised by the office manager that this would be taken care of by Monday, 08/05/2024 and here I set on the 6th with still 85 degree temps in my home and no response to date.

      Terrible customer service. They do not respond to emails or calls. I have left several voicemails for months. Kind of concerning if you are a resident I never moved in to this apartment, but paid a $300 refundable deposit. They claimed they mailed the refund check to my old address and Ive been trying to get in contact with the leasing office since the end of May! It is now the second week of July. I asked for a new check to be mailed to the correct address and I still have heard NOTHING back. Very disappointing. They replied to my review on ****** stating that they returned the $300 to my original form of payment which is not true as I checked with my bank. I am extremely frustrated with this company and their customer service. They do not answer emails or phone calls and took them two weeks to respond to my review. Still nothing has been resolved.

      I lived at their Shockhoe Commons "luxury" apartment building before and after they took over management. The difference in treatment was evident from day one. Work orders never got fixed, we started getting charged for utilities already covered by taxes, and you could never reach anyone. The noise pollution coming from the restaurant located directly underneath the apartment was always terrible. The restaurant frequently played music that sounded in the 70 decibel range in my living room. The construction of the apartment floor is also questionable and I even had to take myself to the emergency room after stepping on rusty nails sticking out of the floor. After living here for less than a year, the leasing office tried to raise our rent by 30% and was not willing to negotiate to a reasonable raise based on property value and cost of living increases, which would have been about a 12% raise. Our rent for October also include charges for things we already paid for and a TV cable charge, which we don't get. On top of that, we're were also charged extra for municipal utilities that are already covered by taxes

      I've lived in one of the Richmond apartment complexes for 2 years now. My car was also broken into earlier this year while being parked in one of their "secure" garages. And while they promised to have the gates fixed and cameras installed, neither has been done. In fact, we received an email telling the residents that *we* needed to purchase additional car security to combat this problem. This of course would be in addition to the $100 per month garage parking fee. Absolutely ridiculous.

      Their communication would be laughable if it wasn't infuriating. They are impossible to get in contact with in a timely fashion. I've had to wait multiple weeks for a callback (after no responses over email, via the resident portal and no one ever being able to connect me when I call) just to have a 40 second phone call with no accountability for the lack of response before being hung up on. I dread having anything go wrong in my apartment because I know it would mean having to try and get someone to speak with me at the office. I'm counting down the days I can put this apartment and all interactions with this business behind me.

      I stay in one of their apartments complexes in Richmond,VA. My cars have been broken into 3 times this month and i pay for garage parking that the gates don’t work there are no cameras or anything to stop break ins, we have gotten pest control twice since moving her in February we have placed multiple work orders for pest control some have been deleted, the front office does nothing about any issue you have, I’ve called Bonaventure mainline and whenever i try to get transferred to someone high no one is available. I get promised call backs and never get call backs.
