This is a Company that was funded by the CCP they have a legal office located in China just their way of black mailing your account and dirty biz practice makes this a horrible experience to invest in as a stock share holder.

Personally speaking i had a really tough time trying to dispute a fraud claim and having to argue to a support specialist about my account being hacked .....the hacker ended up holding my account for about a few years until I noticed a few charges on my card... they were small charges but steam was able to refund it back given that it was a different IP. so steam did a wonderful job handling the investigation. however gaijin never did any of that .....they decided to freeze the account extort me for my money because steam got involved and then demanded they were the victim.....this is a really shady company I highly suggest you don't invest in a company like them specially if you are an enthused gamer wanting to help the community more than your wallet.

As with many games, you can start War Thunder by Gaijin Enterinment for free and grind your way through what they call the "tech tree" or you can buy in for real money. I'd guess many people initially spend about $100 to start playing. Doing this accelerates your ability to get to a competitive level. Otherwise you're just there for the players that have paid to play to beat on and bully. This is due to the vehicles you're driving not having a reasonable chance at beating those others have paid for. With that, my time is valuable. I did spend the first couple of years playing this game grinding my way through the tech tree. I would not recommend it (or even playing the game at this point). At some point I did get completely fed up with the fact that one nation specifically seems to be wrapped in magic. Their vehicles shoot and drive faster, can tank significant damage, while killing their enemies often (most of the time) with one shot. So, I thought about it really hard and identified a nation and a specific unit that can actually deal with that issue. I spent roughly $400 US. to buy the unit. I tested it and verified that, yes it does in fact compete and yes in the hands of someone that has been playing a long time it provides a greater chance of success. Today, Gaijin implemented a patch that specifically outlines that this unit and only this unit in the game is too annoying for the players of the nation Gaijin seems to favor and dramatically nerfed the unit I paid real money for. They effectively allowed me and probably many others to give them money for a product and then changed it from its advertised capabilities. The did not do this in turn for the nation they seem to prefer. In other words, the people who complained heavily and play the nation they prefer now have an extreme advantage and people like me who paid real money to compete no longer can.

I would not recommend this game, or this company.

They need to be sued for a scam game. They make it impossible to get any of the planes they advertise, and charge you to get the max progression towards those said planes in the form of a daily premium account. It needs to get blocked from the American internet, Hungarian company, originally developed by a company in Moscow like come on. Just taking advantage and probably harvesting pilot game data to use against us. If it is legit Russians, and the data never hits Russia, or any other servers, fine let them continue. For now its false advertising if you require more than 40 hours to achieve advertised vehicles, this is about 1000 hours of playtime to achieve it, forcing everyone to pay for premium, it's a trick.

    The economy is utterly ridiculous.
    Gaijin doesn't listen to us.
And worst of all they try to make themselves look like the innocent ones.

This game has an amazing potential, once again ruined by predatory monetisation in the course of various years of the game's developing.

    Enough.

Company is very anti-consumer, does not listen to the player-base and does not fix important issues. Refuses to fix russia overperforming tanks and purposely places them lower to give them an upper edge as well as nerfing NATO country tanks to be extremely weak. Does not fix game breaking bugs and further nerfs the economy to an un-enjoyable level. Let's people dox each other and publicly name and shame on their forums and fosters toxicity within their game. Refuses to balance CAS or make a ground only mode. Maps are terribly designed to further influence toxicity on an extreme level. They say they are hungarian but only for tax purposes, really a Russian company. World Of Tanks is a Russian company and don't even bias Russian tanks; they also at least try to fix their stuff too. can we put 1/4 of a star?
