    Totally dissatisfied with Amelia door's commitment to replacing a 16' garage door and Management's decision to back out of the problem after advising they would replace the door.They put in a ClopayT52S door that made loud noises when raising and lowering. They replaced the door with no improvement. They brought the Clopay rep in and finally decided internally at Amelia Door they would replace the panels by gluing them together since that was the culprit for the noise. Management consisting of ***************** and ***************** retracted their offer to do this replacement after committing to, which was put in writing. I would highly not recommend using Amelia Door for any residential door installations or replacements. Totally dissatisfied with their lack of honesty.

    I was initially impressed with the quality of work when my 2 doors were first installed. However, their customer service is horrible. I had a door cable break last Tuesday night (5/28). I called the next morning when I got home from work and was initially told someone would call me later that day to schedule me as it was covered under warranty and an emergent service would result in a bill to me. I waited until almost closing time and called back because I had not heard anything. I was told that it would be Monday or Tuesday before they could get to my residence, and that they would call me the day prior to schedule a time. Today, I had to call back in to see when they would be out to fix my broken door. I was told that I would possibly have my door fixed Wednesday, maybe Thursday. It is unfortunate that it appears that there is little communication with the service crews and the homeowners when they call in for service. I will be at least a week without the use of half my garage as the cable that broke will not allow me to manually use the door. I feel like I have been lied to about quickness of service and will be sure to divert business from Amelia Overhead Doors when possible.
