As a past employee of the company, I look back and reflect the heavy workload and judgmental leadership I tolerated. It being such a well-known name, little is known about the reality of the work some employees tolerate. Unfortunately, I was put in a position where I had very limited options or it seemed that way at the time. Given the company's large presence in the local community, a fear to comply was high. The government needs to drop these cash cows of companies from the subsidized bucket and enforce stricter requirements due to amount of influence they have among the population. Good business should be standard for the customer and employee. I feel as I was overworked, and I am not sure if it was intentional or not. Leadership was judgmental in the sense that if you fit in, great you could stay and enjoy the ride into retirement. If you didn't fit in, there appeared to be pressure to fit in and behave appropriately. I also sensed jealously if you were a somebody on the outside or almost hatred for having a life outside the work environment. Now I don't want to be a bitter/resentful person but I feel as these issues should be brought up and shared with folks so they know better and potentially avoid them as an employer if they do come across an opportunity. I want to leave this here so that others can become aware, Unfortunately, I am doing the company and the rest of the population a favor here by sharing my experience and knowledge.

I was let go from Boeing on October 25, 2023 for, I feel, simply using their Your Cause platform. Before I started donating to MY OWN CAT RESCUE, I sent YOUR Cause representatives an email and TOLD THEM I was the founder of the group. I wanted to know what I could (more like what I couldn't do with that being said) they told me to "Refer to the guidelines". I did read the guidelines, and the only thing I read was that I cannot use the funds for my personal use. I had no intention of doing that. I have to account for all monies that come out of my cat rescue group because I get audited by the state. I feel like I was fired because I USED the platform. They said it was because I used fundraiser money from my group to make donations. Well, why didn't they tell me I couldn't when I asked them (Your Cause Reps). That is why I'm writing this review. I think Boeing treats its employees like they are a number. I had so much pride working at Boeing for them to do this to me. I have nothing but a bad taste in my mouth from them firing me. I feel like the person who answered my email didn't know what to say or how to answer my email, so she told me to "refer to the guidelines," and then I got fired for his/her ignorance!!! I would have been there 2 years in February of 2024. My boss was great, and my co-workers were like family. My boss encouraged me to fight Boeing on this too. He knows the kind of person I am.
