      I have been getting letters from See Clearly Vision stating that my payment is late. My payment in the amount of $315 was sent by Check in Early August to the address on the payment slip (P.O. Box **** Arnold MD *****). Actually I should have been billed only for $215 but I did not want to argue with them as I have a neurological condition and sent the payment across. I had called on 9/13 (******) after receiving the first letter for late payment on ###-###-#### and again on 9/29 (*******). On Both times I called, I am told that the check is in a lock-box and someone has to get the check from the lock-box. But this never happens. If so why am i receiving letters of late payment? . I called again on 9/29 at ###-###-#### and the receptionist after explaining all the details put me on hold for several minutes. Then she said she was going to transfer me to a supervisor , but hung up the phone. They need to send someone to their lockbox and pickup the payment checks and clear my account. This is undue harassment, especially for a person like me who has a neurological condition.

      After the initial complaint, the See Clearly asked me to pay  an additional $29.33 on 9//923. This was for late payment, for the payment which I had sent on time (see my previous communication), but the company did not want to go to their mailbox to pick up the check and hence classified it as Late. When I brought this to their attention they changed it around and said this was not late payment but regular payment. I have since payed this amount

      Today 11/9/23 , they send me another bill for $5.67. In total this company has since billed me an excess of $100 + $29.33 + $5.67 = $135

      This is a scam company and keep billing their clients forever for a single visit. Especially they target clients who have a disability. I have a neurological condition which the company and doctors are aware of and hence believe me to be any easy target.

      During the months of August and September we encountered problems with our vendor that processes mail through a lockbox.   There was a delay in receiving checks from this vendor.  You cannot physically go and retrieve mail from the lockbox, but every effort was made to work with the vendor and retrieve mail.   Our patient statements process on a 30 day cycle and this created a situation where some patients may have received additional statements due to the delay in the mail.  We have not sent letters to patients for past due balances, only patient statements.  We have not turned any of these accounts over to a third party collection agency to collect balances.  I am not sure who the patient spoke with, but that number is not our Financial Services Team.  The phone number on the patient statement would have been directed to our billing services and we would have noted a patient call.  We apologize for any inconvenience that the delayed mail may have caused.  The process has been corrected and we have successfully transferred our business to a different vendor.  Again we apologize for any inconvenience.

      This company is a scam.

      They billed me late fees because they did not pick up the check in time. That is wrong. And if I did not pay the late fees it would have gone into collection services which would destroy my credit history.

      This is an unprofessional company and this is not the first issue. In the past they have provided false prescriptions for contacts. On my last visit they did not even want to prescribe me a pair of contacts but wanted to bill me for a full service. They ended up over billing me several hundred dollars which I have already mentioned in my previous messages.

      The community needs to know the type of company SeeClearly is.
