I sought the services of this business in January 2023 based on the phots presented on the website and others shown to me during a consultation. I specifically asked for a natural look on my eyebrows that would be light (Im blond with extremely fair skin) and would look like hairstrokes.Nargas showed me several fabulous photos that looked like what I wanted. But then she made the decision after she started to do mostly shading (with only a few Microblading strokes). My eyebrows turned out very dark and there are no hairstrokes at all!I have asked for a full refund. I went in to see ****** and she offered to lighten the color by adding some yellow (I cant let her touch my face again). She also told me I was doing a good job hiding them with my bangs and that the color would fade in a year or two. She did give me a 50% refund, but considering I have to pay to get the work corrected and this has been a stressful experience, I want a full refund. The work she did on me looks nothing like what is represented on her website or what she showed to me during the consultation. It is not what we agreed to. I trusted her with my appearance. I recently consulted with a professional who explained what I would need to do to fix the eyebrows, so I reached out directly to ****** for the other 50% and she made excuses and even tried to blame me or my skin sensitivity for the poor work. But she knows the truth of what I asked for and what she did. She said to me in a text every client is different. I cant do the same thing for every client. This statement negates the very purpose of photos on the website or a consultation in which she shows me photos of her work! I have uploaded three pictures from her website and two of my eyebrows. The pictures of me are not out of focus. You cannot see any hairstrokes in my pictures because all she did was shading. I am simply asking for the other $325 in a refund. This is a simple solution.

I had scheduled this client for a combination of microbalding and shading after a consultation explaining to her what she would be getting done and the reason. Client wanted natural look with hair strokes but due to her skin type/condition I made it clear that I would be doing a combination brows and  explained just microblading wouldn't be enough in her case since she had no hair.

After doing multiple shapes for over an hour in her initial appointment since she couldn't decide. I even asked her not to get it done if unsure or come back with a friend but insisted on getting it done since she had done this in the passed with another artist and ended up not getting it done. Once done she was fine with the work and mentioned nothing about not having enough microblading. All my combination brows have 3-6 hair strokes in the front of the brows to keep it soft and the rest machine work for shading. Photos were presented!

Weeks later she comes in to see me in person and expressed how she felt. She also mentioned I was too expensive and she could've had that kind of work with the person she consulted prior to seeing me for half the price. I offered to lighten the color but didn't accept. Although my services are non refundable, I refunded 50% of her money.  She left happy and agreed it was fair for both of us.

A few weeks later she texted me complaining again and said she should be getting a full refund. She also threatened to write me a negative review including her photos and accused me of having fake client photos displayed on my website and social media platforms. Every photo I have showed her was my own clients and I can proof that. The client photos she is comparing her healed results with are of those with 60%-80% existing brows prior to my services which I will include for review.  I will say this again every client heals differently and not all clients are a good candidate for microblading. I can't do the same thing for every client. The services are provided based on the clients skin type/condition. I did my best to settle this in a polite manner but it seems like I cant make this client happy no matter what I do. According to what she said another $325 shouldn't be a big deal and if I'm so great I should refund her the rest. At this point this is not about a refund its about the principle which I hope she understands.

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

This vendor made up the excuses about my skin not being right for microblading after the fact (after I complained to her actually). When she started work on my face we had agreed to a specific look which would have required more (mostly, if not all)  microblading. I guess when she got started she changed her mind and said she would be doing a blend of microblading and shading (she was already working in my face at that point, but because I believed she understood what I wanted, I trusted her). She did not say why she switched to shading. In the end she did mostly shading with only a tiny bit of microblading (as she stated in her response 3 or so strokes per eyebrow). That is not what we agreed to and she is fully aware of that. When I went back to complain I asked for a full refund initially and then agreed to half refund which she gladly agreed to instead of full refund. During that second visit she made comments about adding yellow to lighten the color (there is actually a much better way of lightening that I have found elsewhere) and she made a joke about how my new bangs could cover the eyebrows. I have been patient trying to see if I can live with this look but am aggravated that she insists she gave me what I asked for. She changed her method on me after we had already had a consult and an agreement of what I wanted. If she felt my skin type was not good for microblading then she should have stated that up front. If she determined my skin wasn't good for microblading after she started the service she should have stopped the service and said that my skin cannot have microblading. What seems to have happened is that she started with the microblading and my face was bleeding more than normal so she switched to shading. Either that or she wanted to rush and be done with me. Either way, it was not what I conveyed to her and not what we agreed upon.

I insist on a full refund because she should take responsibility for deciding to change the service and not following my desires as her customer. Ink on a persons face is long term and costs money to fix. She should take ownership of her mistake and refund me. I have already had to pay another vendor to lighten this color and prep me for the microblading I asked for.

    Regards,

The original appointment was scheduled for a combination of microblading and shading after initial consult. Client had agreed and also reviewed confirmation email including description of the service being provided. If I was in a rush I would’ve done microblading only. It’s faster! Shading takes a lot more time since your building in layers and slowly. I had mentioned I would do a few hair strokes with mostly shading at the consult and at the appointment day due to the skin sensitivity and the fact that we were working without any existing brow hair. Sensitive skin, rosacea skin, oily skin and few other skin types can not tolerate too much microblading and in most cases it won’t even retain color if I did do all microblading. I wanted to provide something gentle to the skin/long lasting with less trauma. There is nothing I can further do to assist in this case apart from what I’ve already done.
