Despite how friendly the staff had all been and the great work done by the two guys mentioned above on the final day of work, I will mention that overall this was not a great experience. A lot of ridiculous unacceptable mistakes were made on a straightforward install. I was told that the transfer switches would be installed on the inside of my house by the circuit breaker panel but instead were installed on the outside by the meter and generator. Truthfully I don't care where the transfer switches are installed but they affect where the generator is installed. Next issue was that they brought the wrong generator out to my house. Instead of the 24 kW that I paid for they brought a cheaper 22 kW generator. 4 installers reviewed everything at the end of the day of install but didn't catch this until I brought it up to their attention. So they had to come back to install the correct generator that I paid for. The day of inspection, the county inspector immediately failed the install due to the generator being installed too close to the transfer switches. He said that the installers should have known this distance requirement if installed on outside and should have installed the transfer switches on the inside of the house by the circuit breaker panel so it would not have failed due to being too close to them. So they had to come on another day to move the generator to a location further from my house. Then the inspector had to come on yet another day to review. This whole process should have only required me to take off 2 days from work for this but because Generator Superstore made so many mistakes, I had to take off 4 days of work. Also even though the overall total charged was correct, the divided up amounts that I was quoted to be charged on my credit card did not coincide with what was charged. This caused confusion as the final payment was bigger than what I was told it would be even though the total of all payments was correct.
