    Needed to have our septic system pumped and decided to try Foutz since they had such good ratings and the last company we called was a no call, no show for the second time. The Tech did seem very knowledgeable, showed on time and did a good job. However, we were told the service would cost $305.00. After the job was done and I go to pay the Tech, he tells me there is a digging fee of $75. This is the fourth company we have used for septic service and the only one who did not include all fees in the price quoted. I had talked to the tech while he was working, and the additional fee was not mentioned at all until I went to pay. Not disclosing all fees up front is a very deceptive practice and not something an honest company would do. I am not sure I would trust Foutz for any future work.

    As stated in this review our hard working team came and did the work for this client. Our secretary tells every caller the same pricing information which includes, “if they have to locate or dig your septic tank there will be a charge for that.” So this client argued his point claiming the secretary did not say that. For the benefit of the doubt that our secretary forgot to say that in the conversation we waived the $75 fee and he did not pay it. Since this client left a voicemail of how he was leaving reviews all over the internet I also made a personal phone call to further explain that if the secretary forgot to convey that information then that is simple human error and not “deceptive business practices”. Business requires trust both for clients and companies and Foutz Septic appreciates and works hard to be there for all of our great and reasonable clients.
