I was planning a wedding for 10/25/2025 I needed a day of wedding coordinator after much research I came across Twelve19 Events spoke with Breanna Carter the owner of the business I was very pleased with her and wanted to work along side her for my big day I paid her in full the amount of $1100 in January with a signed contract by both parties. March 2024 I found out I was expecting a baby I reached out to Breanna on March 18th letting her know our situation and that we would not need her services and requested a refund she agreed to a full refund of $1100 on June 6th 2024 and we both signed a contract addendum on June 11th 2024 I was too receive my refund on August 6th 2024 as of December 19th 2024 I still have not received my refund of $1100 I have reached out to Breanna Carter 6 times since signing our contract she has responded twice to my messages with no refund in sight I informed her on our one communication since signing our contract that if this can not be handled in a civil way then legal action may need to take place I did inform her I would like to not go that route, she stated she would reach out to me when she was back in her office on November 6th and I have not heard anything from her I have text her once and emailed her once with no response I am just trying to get my refund so we can both go on with our lives. I have documentation of every email and message sent as well as the initial contract and contract addendum available if needed.

We signed a contract with Twelve19 events on April 11, 2024 for a day-of coordinator for our wedding. The travel fee was waived because we paid the full amount owed in full ($700). On September 11, 2024, Breanna sent a mass email to all of her clients stating that she has moved and as a result, we will all now owe an additional travel fee in the amount of $250. She also added the option of offering a full refund within 60 days, as outlined in our contract. We chose to take the refund offer and she confirmed she would get it to us within 60 days.

60 days came and went with no information. We reached out and she said she was out of office and wouldn't be able to process the refund until she came back. Once she got back, she let us know she needed to request the funds from her accountant, who would then send the funds to her. She would then send the funds back to me. We confirmed the original form of payment was how we preferred the refund, and she assured us it would arrive by November 27, 2024.

On December 3rd, we emailed to let her know we had never received the refund, she did not respond. On December 4th, we emailed again reminding her of the 60-day agreement outlined in our contract. She did not respond. On December 9th, we sent a formal demand letter requesting our payment be sent within 10 days or we would take legal action. She still has not responded.

I hired Breanna ****** (owner) to be my wedding planner. She continously missed appointments, never showed, and when I mentioned my fiance and I were upset about her failure to perform and nervous she would miss our wedding, she got upset and said she no longer wanted to work with us because she was worried there would be negative feelings toward us. I agreed to cancel, she and I signed the agreement, now she refuses to give my money back as outlined in the agreement... and continues to make excuses. I have been impacted by Hurricane Helene and need the money as we rebuild and should not have to wait when there is an agreement. I just want my money back and to move on from this horrible business.
