    On 6/29/2022 I closed on my house that I was purchasing at *** ***** ***** *** ***** ** ****** I closed with Reliance Law Group in Cedar Bluff VA. I had no issues until I went to sell my house in March of 2024. I got a buyer for my house and the first scheduled closing was supposed to be on April 29th 2024. On May 6th 2024 I received a message from my realtor that ***** *** **** (who was handing the sell now) was having to contact Reliance Law Group because there judgements against the house from the previous owner and that Reliance Law Group had never gotten it taken care of. On May 13th 2024 I was told that both judgements were being cleared up and they were having to do a proof of marriage from the previous owners.
    May 23rd 20024 I was told that one of the judgements had been taken care of but the other was sent to the wrong county and would be longer on the closing. As of today June 10th 2024 we are no closer to closing on this house and the amount of money I have had to spend is approximately $5,000. If Reliance Law Group would have done their job and what should have been taken care before I purchased the home, I would not be out any money. My credit has been affected by this because of missing and late payments all due to negligence on part of Reliance Law Group. This has also caused me mental health issues to where my medications had to up my due to anxiety.

    I am  ******* *******, the practice administrator for the The Reliance Law Group.  Mr. *******, the senior partner of the Reliance Law Group personally reached out to Ms. ****** when we received the first notice, and address her complaint. and the situation has been taken care of.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
