    According to McAfee and the scams they describe, Rediscover Systems Inc definitely falls into the scam category. I, too, paid far too much for supposedly a 3- year protection renewal and have had to shut my laptop down until I can take it in and get the files they put onto my laptop removed, not to mention closing down my credit card a day before leaving for vacation and wasting time changing all my passwords. Rediscover Systems used Log Mein to remotely control my computer and that is one of the programs McAfee warns against. Read McAfee’s description of McAfee scammers! It is very helpful and important.

    This is in regard to the customer’s complaint we have received on BBB, We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We would like to inform you that customer contacted us on 19th of May 2023 as she needed help with spam email issues on her computer. We offered her help and service to fix the issues and she got agreed and paid us for the service and 3 Year Antivirus Security. Before making the payment we clearly told her the name of the company she is dealing with that is REDISCOVER SYSTEM USA INC. She also filled up and digitally signed online card authorization to allow and agree for the payment. We successfully fixed the issues she was facing and as we have a certified resellers account we also activated 3 Year McAfee protection on her account from our end and also installed it on her computer successfully. After finishing the work we asked customer to check the computer in order to make sure that she got the service that she paid for so after checking the computer customer also sent us a positive feedback and appreciated the security and service provided. One day after the work we called the customer for a follow-up and customer said that her computer is working great.
    Everything was properly explained to customer about the payment she made, to whom she paid, what service she is getting and everything was documented and copy or all the documents were sent to customer on her email that includes digitally signed card authorization by customer, digitally signed service delivery proof by customer, order invoice and welcome email with all information about company.
    Being a company oriented towards customer satisfaction we are still ready to provide her any kind of help and support and if she still don’t want to continue this service she can call us on our toll free number or sent us email requesting the refund and we will be happy to assist her with her request.
