      The office frozen my vials and I had to order new vials that cost me $463.22 to continue my Allergy shots treatment.

      Patient brought vials from another provider in order to receive injections in our office due to their convenience. Patient never received an injection in our office. Vials were stored as a courtesy. Administration of injections and storage of vials from another provider is a service not offered by all healthcare providers. Vials were stored in two different fridges; one fridge had a malfunction and the vials in that fridge were unusable; however the second set of vials were stored in a separate fridge which did not malfunction. Patient insisted new vials be made despite the usability of one set. A quoted price of $463.22 for remaking vials by the prescribing provider was provided to us on March 31, 2023. A check for the stated amount of $463.22 was mailed at our next accounting cycle to the prescribing provider on April 13, 2023.
