    DO NOT STAY AT THIS DISGUSTING HOTEL!! IT WILL BE A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY!!! WHATEVER YOU DO , DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!My husbands family and I drove 6 hours to stay at this hotel for a graduation we were attendING.I was the first to walk into the hotel room. I noticed an ant on my bag and an ant on the desk but didnt think too much of it as we understand , things happen. However, this became an issue when I noticed multiple ants all over our bed sheets. I immediately called the front desk and the front desk concierge let us know that she will call the manager and call us back. She then called us back and said she spoke to the manager and was informed that she cannot move us to another room because the hotel was full so she can send up fresh bed sheets. I reluctantly agreed and asked if she will be coming to spread the bed and she said it is a safety issue for her to leave the front desk so she cannot spread the bed for us and no one is there to do so . This upset us because we pay for hotel service and that includes having someone spread our bed sheets. Especially if it is the hotels fault the sheets have to be changed prematurely anyways.Moving forward, we reluctantly agreed again and the front desk concierge worked on bringing the sheets up. As we waited, we were inspecting the room to try to see where the ants were coming from. We turned the book that was on the desk over and there was an unknown liquid substance that attracted more ants! We left it like that so the front desk agent can see for herself After we began to spread our bed with the new bed sheets, not only was the sheets not the right size for the bed but when we were changing the pillowcases, we discovered a huge stain on the pillow that we unknowingly slept on the night before. This accumulation of things proves that the room was NOT clean when we arrived. At this point, we are absolutely disgusted. We requested a full refund and they only refunded us for one night.

    My son and I have stayed at the ***************************************************************************** many times over the years ,back when it was La Quinta and have had nothing but good and worthwhile experiences there. The location is excellent , the building is fine, service was great so now, as of recently, there is a new name that has taken over and I should have looked into Clarion Pointe and not assumed that I would be treated as fairly as I was used to being treated by La Quinta.1)The front desk managed to book my son and me for a weekend stay on a date we hadn't asked for, something I found out after the fact. We had reserved a stay for July 9th for one night. Without our knowledge or consent, they changed this reservation date to July 16-17th.2) I had cancelled our original booking at Clarion Pointe (due to Covid ) 50 hours before the weekend we ourselves had reserved to go to *************** without booking another weekend, not suspecting the front desk had made entirely different plans with a different date for us. Surprise! They claimed I was sent an email notifying me that apparently they themselves had decided, when I were to visit *************** instead of letting me decide , when we should make the trip, The information about the surprise reservation they had made for us on a wrong weekend was ,according to them, supposedly made clear to me via email, an email I never received.So, this is a sad end to what were to be our very last visit to *************** and I am hoping I will be able to retrieve the deposit I originally made for a weekend I myself had decided the date of, a visit my son and I never made. So far the front desk at Clarion Pointe has unfortunately been uncooperative. I have contacted the Clarion Pointe several times to no avail but am giving the company 1 star since, as of yesterday, they do still answer their telephone.
