    This past summer, one of my neighbors arranged to have several of our neighborhood driveways sealed by a 'Robertson Paving' for $350/driveway. Me and my family were traveling when the work was done, so once I returned, I promptly looked up the address for Robertson Paving, and mailed a check for $350 to Roger Robertson Paving.A week later, a B.D. Robertson showed up looking for payment for the driveway sealing. I told him I had put the check in the mail and he should have it any day now.A week after that, he came by again and said he still had not received any check. When he asked where it had been sent, it became clear that Roger Robertson and B.D. Robertson are not part of the same business (they are brothers in the same line of work, but do not work together) and I had mistakenly send the $350 to Roger. I checked my account online, and the check had been cashed by Roger.I contacted Roger Robertson and explained the situation. He said he understood and said he would mail me a refund. To get B.D. paid faster, I wrote him a second check (for $350) and waited on the refund from Roger.It took a while but eventually I received a refund from Roger...for $300. I contacted Roger asking about the $50 discrepancy and he said either he or his bookkeeper had noted the incorrect account. I said I understood and asked him to send the remaining $50 at the next opportunity, no express mail or hand delivery asked.Since then, and despite three additional calls asking about the remaining $50 refund, it has never arrived. Roger seems like a good person, but I should not have to keep calling about this.

    I did send him the $300.00    He has called me a couple of times to get the other $50.  At first I though he said $300.  So I sent it.  I have nothing to do with BD Robertson company.  I have a good reputation and it better not get a bad name on me. I owe nobody.  I pay for all materials as I get it. Leave card numbers at all places I buy big purchases from daily so I **** owe anyone  He sent it to us.  I do so many jobs that when i get checks in mail I just deposit them.  I trust people to send to me. I m sure people owe me and have not paid that I forgot abut.  This person did call me and told me what he had paid.  I don't know how he even got my address to send me a check.  I have not looked at his job.  Get me his address again and i will personally take it to him.  I don't have the address now.  I did not keep his address after mailing his $50 the second time because he was not a customer of mine.  We stay busy and you wont find complaints about my company.   $50 is no money for me to send to this person.

    PS  Roger did send me the $50 and I appreciate it.  I will make sure he knows I have canceled this complaint.  Thank you.
