    The owner, Rhett, is nice up until you hold him accountable. The moment we mentioned we weren’t happy with a particular work, he would get very passive aggressive. He hires outside contractors and lies to them about the work they’re doing to underpay them. The ceiling plaster that got replaced is still very bumpy. Rhett refused to admit that his company broke our ceiling fan and damaged electricity cables even after the electrician he hired told him these things were damaged. he turned to me and said “well, you don’t care about that much do you?”
    The biggest issue happened when the outside contractors used the wrong type of paint in our bathroom. So now the paint is peeling and there’s water damage on the walls. After getting in contact with someone at Personal Touch , they had a manager come out who also admitted that, yes they used the wrong paint. He said we would get called on monday that week, thursday came and absolutely no call. I ended up calling and getting the answer of “i need to find the project manager in charge to confirm.” After this point, they started dodging calls and missing any appointments that did happen to get set up. After requesting for them to call me on their buildertrend website and getting no response for almost a month now, we contacted our insurance and told them to just switch us contractors. If you want quality work and a company that cares about giving that, do not use this company.

    Do not get hired here. The owner wants to hold my husband's last paycheck because he didn't turn in his shirts!!! By Virginia law, you can't do that!
