      They will not provide me with an itemized bill and will say that “the estimate is the contract”. Estimate, by definition, is “an approximate calculation or judgment of the value, number, quantity, or extent of something.” They provided an estimate for a LARGE amount of work to be done on my house, did less than half of the estimated scope of work, and are STILL trying to tell me the ESTIMATE is my CONTRACT. I never signed anything saying it was. I signed a work authorization form, that’s it. The WA mentions no specific numbers or that the estimate is binding. Then multiple people from ******* have tried to tell me that everything in the estimate was completed, which is a blatant lie, as the video footage I have of the job site shows otherwise. Then they get flustered, rude, and try to tell me I’m wrong. They want ME to tell THEM what occurred during their job. Because they don’t know, nor care, to pay attention to the actual work that happened. Since they never intended to revise their estimate.
      I also signed a work authorization form 24 October 2023. Was not ever told a start date for the actual work, even though I asked multiple times. WORK DID NOT START UNTIL 06 FEBRUARY 2024. I should have fired them back then in November or December. I’ve been out of my home for SIX MONTHS for a job that took them a total of 2.5 weeks from start to finish.
      Horrible communication with my project manager, Jason Holcomb, who had to file for a building permit THREE times with the city, because he’d apparently never done it before, wasting a month and a half of time. He also brought a storage unit to my house in early December when my belongings didn’t get moved out until end of January. So that’s extra money.
      On another note, Sabrina with Contents is genuinely amazing and they did a great job moving my belongings. AND I GOT AN ITEMIZED RECEIPT.
