    We contracted with Harrison Movers to pick up, store, and deliver our household goods from Chesapeake Va to Marlborough CT. Upon arrival at our new residence in Marlborough CT, we discovered a number of items broken (which they paid *** on the dollar to the sum of ****.) and 7 boxes that contained kitchen items, bedroom items, and a jewelry box with military items among other things. The driver of the moving van informed us that when he arrived at the storage warehouse to load the moving van destined for our CT home, some of the boxes were being loaded on the wrong truck.
    Harrison/ apple Movers did convey to us they did a thorough search to locate the 7 boxes but to no avail in finding them. We feel that these boxes didn’t just disappear and are located either in the warehouse or got accidentally shipped to the wrong address. Generally speaking, the move was good with the exception of the missing boxes. For the amount we paid Harrison/Apple Movers we wonder if they did du-diligence in finding those 7 mission boxes.

    Thank you for making us aware of this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience! After investigating, it appears as though this is still an active claim and our regional manager, general manager and claims adjuster are working with the shipper to determine a fair resolution.

    My apologies. I should have included more detail in my initial response. What I meant by active claim is that it is still being reviewed internally and that the team was working on a reply. I followed up with our team yesterday and learned that there were ongoing discussions taking place and a follow up response today seemed very likely. If that is not the case, please do not hesitate to let me know so that we can be sure to get this resolved. I appreciate your patience and understanding through this process.

    After a lengthily deliberation, we have accepted a ***** Claim offer from Apple Moving Co. with the request that if Apple Movers eventually find the missing 7 boxes, that they would send them to us.
