  I have been with this practice since its inception a few years ago, and I am exceedingly grateful for what Justin and his team have built! I have received nothing short of the HIGHEST level of care, support, and attention from the friendliest and kindest people! In a world where providers in many specialties make patients feel like a mere box to tick off on their overly booked, daily schedule, Justin and his team provide highly professional, personal, and individualized support during appointments and for any needs in between! Responses to emails and phone calls are attended with exceeding quickness and accuracy; I’ve never had to wait the medical industry’s standard “24-48 hours” for a response and solution! When my son died unexpectedly a few months ago, they personally reached out to offer their support and condolences. Justin has created a patient’s “dream” mental health office! While they are indeed a self-pay-only practice, it is affordable, and the services provided far exceed any place that does accept insurance. They still work with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations for medications (in the timeliest of manners). In fact, my family members have become patients just from their observations of the depth of care I have ALWAYS and without exception received! I would HIGHLY recommend South Chesapeake Psychiatry to anyone who wants a genuine relationship with their mental health provider. They have revolutionized and reset the level of expectation for patient care!
