    On Sept 4th the contractor came to my property to quote for the project, The quote was accepted & we gave the contractor a $500 check with the understanding that the project would be begin the following Friday, Sept 13th. The check was cashed on Sept 9th. Since then, we have had various excuses for why the project has not been started, such as Grandfather was ill, the equipment was not working and then truck had been crashed. I have contacted the contractor several times but no reply. The last contact we had was a text on Oct 14th saying his truck was involved in an accident, but the situation would be resolved the next week, and the project would begin. I have not heard from them since. I tried to contact the contractor for the last time on Oct 21st, still with no response from the contractor.The resolution I would like is that the project is cancelled and the deposit of $500 is returned.

    My driveway was sealed on Thursday July 20th and was supposed to include filling all the cracks within the driveway, fill the cracks against the bricks at the end of the driveway and filling in the space against the timbers that border my driveway. They were also supposed to remove all the grass and dirt in the cracks and edges. They did not fill some of the cracks in the driveway at all and did a poor job of fillings some of the cracks, to the point where some parts of the cracks were not filled. They did not fill any of the gaps at the bricks. They did not fill against the timbers basically at all. They did not remove all the grass and put such a thin coat on some of the cracks, that grass still showed. There are a couple other concerns, I will refrain from saying at the time. When I looked at the job in detail the next day, which was Friday, and saw the poor overall job, I sent pictures to the owner (*************************, which is who I talked to in person and looked at job together) and also wrote a description of my concerns (which is stated above). I did not hear back from him, so in a week I texted him and he replied he didn't understand the situation. So I reminded him I sent the pictures with explanations and he said someone would have to look at. I said fine and for him to pick a date and time. He took many days and only after me following up with him, he decided on Monday August 14 at 7 AM. He or anyone did not show up, so after a couple hours, I texted him to please contact me ASAP and I never heard from him. After a period of days and me texting him, he finally chosen another day which was a Monday to look at it, but did not set a time of time which I asked for. Again, no contact and no show up. I sent a text saying after stringing me along for a month, I was done with he and his company and was very disappointed. *** When I entered the company above in this complaint, it brought up that it was in *******...Hoping this is the one and same I'm dealing with.
