    I'm making this complaint on behalf of The **************************************** that is a 501c3 church with child care and learning center that has served the community for almost 25years. We purchased an electronic sign with some grant ***** that we received for staying open during covid period of 2020-2022. The sign was purchased to be both a marketing and information tool. The salesman, *****************, gave me a "turnkey" quote of $25,000 with 3 installments - a copy of the contract attached. The software was managed by the company with some glitches and down time in the Spring/Summer of 2022 handled by then program director ************************* - we were able to use the board up through the 1st quarter of 2023 (March 31st to be exact). When we (my admin person *********************** and I) called for service, ************ relayed that his boss and owner of the company was dealing with some software issues and assured us the problem would be resolve expeditiously! 2 months later after missing all of April ************* Sunday), Spring Break) and ALL of *** *********************** Day {I'm a ******** era veteran} - we still had no service. At this point I had a stronger conversation and informed ************ that they are making it so that litigation may have to be our recourse to which he simple responded: "So noted"! And that was it, no more communication or attempts to resolve the issue. I enquired of an attorney friend who was doing some organization restructuring for us about a litigator and he referred me to *************** see "Representation Agreement" attached. The issue that prompt me for representation is an suspicious email requiring $2500 software fee for connecting the board. We bargain for a turn key with an autonomous software package The attorney's retainer was $1250 and truthfully nothing has happened to move this resolution along. Please help us and any other buyer in this precarious position.
