We were rebuilding a townhouse that caught fire next to another townhouse that the fire spread to. **** ****** with Coastal Contracting/Adjustments was rebuilding the townhouse that the fire spread to. He was hired by their insurance company to complete the work. We ended up completing the firewall for him since it was in between the two townhouses and he said to just bill him and he would make payment to us. That was a big mistake! He was responsive in the beginning saying he was sorry that payment hadnt been sent out and he would send it to us right away, then he said he would meet us but he was very busy, then we said we would come pick up payment and he wouldnt answer, we offered taking payment by credit card and waiving the processing fee and he made up excuse after excuse and now 9 months later, he is unresponsive. Found out that he never finished things at the townhouse next door to the one we completed and now theyve hired us to do work for them since hes not being responsive to them either. Very disappointed and frustrated. Do not hire him unless you want someone to run away with your money!

When it comes to home repairs and renovations, trust is paramount. When you invite someone into your home to fix damages, you expect professionalism, honesty, and timely completion of work. Unfortunately, my experience with ***************************, representing Coastal Adjustment Group LLC and ***** **** Point Exteriors and Renovations LLC, has been anything but trustworthy. My experience with *************************** and Coastal Adjustment Group LLC has been nothing short of a nightmare. From false promises and constant delays to outright lies, *******'s deceptive practices have caused significant stress and financial harm. His initial eagerness to secure the job and payment starkly contrasted with his subsequent avoidance and unprofessional behavior. This article serves as a warning to others in ******** about the character and reliability of *************************** and his companies. The emotional betrayal and violation of trust I experienced should not happen to anyone else. I have detailed history of text messages that corroborate everything I mentioned down to the dates and times.I urge anyone considering working with Coastal Adjustment Group LLC or ***** **** Point Exteriors and Renovations LLC to exercise extreme caution. Do thorough research, read reviews, and consider other options before entrusting them with your home repairs. Please see all the litigation and lawsuits that have been brought against *************************** and you will realize this is an unsavory partner in your home repair and construction goals.

Coastal was assigned as our contractor via State ************* Services Program after our house was hit by lightning which destroyed our entire HVAC system and started a fire in the attic. They did a good job in the initial weeks getting electricity back on and repairing damaged rafters. They have some good young trades, but as time went on it became clear their project management was poor. I had to identify work that had to be done, remind them of schedule requirements, and even insist they use contractors to do work that they couldnt/wouldnt or hire the contractors myself. The most egregious was when they sent two workers to insulate the attic. They installed R19 sidewall rated insulation upside down and left 80% of the attic with no insulation, then billed me for having done a complete job. I hired an insulation company directly who removed their insulation, reinstalled it properly, then blew in insulation to get it to the specified R50 rating. We will not use Coastal again.
