I paid over 7,000$ for Danny's electric to come to my home in October of 2023 and replace the electric in my house...

They spent many days at my house and assured me they replaced ALL live knob and tube wiring...

Fast forward to August 2024...I have people insulating my home...
And they inform me there are 3 walls in which have 140 live volt knob and tube wiring in them...
So they can't insulate my home...and warn me that It is an extreme fire hazard...

So I am requesting a refund of up to 4,500$ for the failed completion of service...and for them to fix the wiring they failed to replace the first time.

Hello, this is Danny with Danny’s Electrical reserves to whom it may concern We had Danny’s electrical service. Don’t feel like we owe customer anything because nowhere in our invoice contract states that we were rewiring customers home if we had rewired her home and agreed to do that which we did not we would’ve asked her to pull all the drywall off the walls so we can remove any old wiring and replace with brand new what we did was a specific list which is listed below and we did accomplish these items on the list 1- Add 20 amp circuit with 3 outlets in computer room. 2-Add 2 outlets in living room. 3-Add 4 outlets via back to back in upstairs bedroom. 4-Tie Bathroom vanity switch in with overhead bathroom light on new switch. 5-Add GFI outlet in Upstairs bathroom. 6-Convert receptacle in kitchen to quad outlet on GFI. 7-Eliminate Knob and Tube switch for Sunroom and upgrade to new switch in surface mount box. As you can see all of these items are completed if she has a problem with these particular items, I’ll be glad to warranty that, but as far as I know all of these seven items are completed and if you notice on number seven, it only mentions knob tube wiring once and it was to replace the switch for the sunroom and upgrade to new switch in surface mount box. Everything else on the list above number seven was adding new wiring from panel for those particular items from items one through six And this invoice which involved wiring, which that’s what she is complaining about knob and tube still being in the walls but yet “we did not say we were gonna rewire the house “ With that said the total of this wiring invoice out of the three invoices was only for $2184 which we completed everything on that list and what’s funny is she’s asking for $4500 as reimbursement if that was valid I don’t agree with that being valid because we performed all tasks to the best of our ability ——————————————————- Invoice#************* Total $2184.00 The invoice for $2184 is the one that she is referring to, but we feel like we’ve accomplished everything that was on this invoice as I stated above —————————————————————- Invoice# ************* Total $168.00 There are three invoices one was the initial invoice which was $168 which was the looksee and figure out what we needed to do this invoice does not apply to her complaint technically ——————————————————————- Invoice#************* Total $5450.75 The next invoice was for a full service meter plus grounding system plus electrical panel replacement Which was completed and the total was $5450.75 which this part of this invoice had nothing to do with the wiring internally in the house other than at the panel itself, so this one does not apply to her complaint technically So to sum up, we performed all tasks to their fullest extent we feel like the customer is false on her accusations that we did not prefer art duties to their fist extent. I’m sorry she feels this way, but we did everything we were supposed to do if she wants us to rewire the house which is not something that we would normally take on because we are a service company not a remodel company. I would be happy to help her, but I would suggest her contact a remodel crew that knows how to do drywall removal and, get someone to rewire the house fully if she’s so concerned about it and then have someone put the drywall back up and paint, etc. See invoices attached   Thank you, Danny Buonpane   owner of Danny’s electrical service   ###-###-####
